So I downloaded this version of the software. I messed around with it for a bit, and took some tutorials. Everything I did pointed me to getting a DJ controller. So I did. I bought the control deck I wanted, and was ready to play. Come to find out that THIS version of the software doesn't support a controller, however the FREE copy that comes with a the controller does. So now I have the one that lets me use the controller, and a completely seperate one that lets me broadcast. Do you think I can use the controller AND broadcast? Nope. I need to buy the $300 version of the software to do both.
Be careful with this product and know what you want it for before buying it. If you want to actually do DJing and broadcast your sets, this IS NOT what you want. If you want a computer based mixer it's fine, but get the home version for free. If you want to do DJing in the real world with a controller, buy a controller with the free version of this software.
This $50 copy of the software does the same mixing as the free home version of the software, and you can broadcast using winamp also for free (Plus the cost of a stream which you would need to buy with this program anyway).
