I might be a bit late on this one, but reviwig a sequel is very hard. Do you review it as an individual game, irrespectful of it's predecessor or judge it as what it is. So here it goes:
Individual Game
Well it's a great game with good quality game-play. Driving a F1 car is great fun and F1 '13 has captured it greatly. There's a huge verity of game-modes to chose from. Don't want to do a complete career, then do season challenge. There's quite a verity to choose from. The graphics are good, but not amazing. It also runs at a good frame-rate. The car models look good, and the tracks look like their real life counterparts, which all adds to the immersion. Overall it's a solid game, if you're a fan of F1 it's must have.
As A Sequel
Well, it certainly doesn't add much to '12. The only thing is Classic Cars, but as half of it's DLC it does feel quite cheap by Code-masters to do this. So it falls down when compared to '12. If you have it, just pick up a mod that changes the cars, and save yourself a load of money.

Great game without a doubt. Scenario mode as made great improvements since 2012 but classics feels a bit more like a DLC than the game it self. Online is starting to have lag issues but the gameplay is prettymuch spot on. 8.5/10

This game is rewarding but extremely difficult if you lack a steering wheel or controller. It has a steep learning curve but it is definitely worth the cash. F1 2013 is a solid F1 simulator, through and through.

Never was very good, as most races end in a collision, but it was the challenge to be a good racer that kept pulling me back in.

Probably the best F1 sim ive played till date. Controls and vechile dynamics are spot on, the online modes make it a whole lot more fun when you get tired of your Career modes. also the addition of the classic cars is a very brilliant idea.

I have had great fun playing this game over the past year. Cars drive really well and codemasters have done a pretty good job at optimising the game to run smoothly. The gameplay itself is what you would expect F1 to be with the smallest mistakes leading to big impacts on your time, making the game challenging to play. Multiplayer is good fun, especially doing a full race weekend with friends. The few downsides to the gameplay is the voice of your race team is the same and can get rather annoying. Also the penalty system can seem like it is punishing you for another cars mistake. Other than that, brilliant game and I have had loads of fun playing it!

At the time of writing this review my time playing F1 2013 is 4.8 hours online but you can multiple that by 10 or 20 if you include offline playing hours. This is one of the best racing games I've ever bought. I purchased the game in a bundle with all the Classic F1 DLC included but in fairness, I didn't need to. The racing using the 2013 cars is challenging and fun especially when you're making your way up the team ladder in career mode where you are having to drive at 100% to meet the objectives your team expects.

The Classic F1 addons just add to the fun. Who hasn't dreamed of driving around Brands Hatch in Mansell's red number 5 Williams or finding out how advanced Alan Jones' championship winning Williams was in 1980 compared to Vettel's 2013 Redbull?

Many more hours of fun to be had with F1 2013 before I look to upgrade to a new season.
