Join a protest, flirt at a bonfire party—there’s a lot to explore outside of lectures at the student union. With new locations like the bowling alley and SimBurger to visit, and new activities like juice pong and spray painting murals to enjoy, your Sims are sure to have the time of their lives!

  • Major Excitement: Each major comes with its own special Sim enhancement. Play with an anatomically-correct skeleton as part of the Science and Medicine major, or broadcast a radio show with the Communications major.
  • Be the Big Sim On Campus: Joining a prominent social clique—Jock, Nerd, or Rebel—can lead to unique job specializations: Sports Agent, Video Game Designer, and Art Appraiser. But your Sim will have to work hard to rise to the top.

    Sims 3: University Life

This is fun if you do not plan to have a family to begin with. I would strongly suggest not make more than one sim to start with. It is really fun if you want to meet new sims quickly. I would suggest this to people who want to make their sim(s) party all night and sleep in the day, or study 24/7. Its a fun game after youve got a good idea of where you need to go everyday.

Tell your friends to get steam if they dont have it already, so they can play this game

This game is beyond amazing. I recomend it to everybody. Yes, it doesn't come with a new world for your sims, but I think that people should for sure purchase it. And if you don't play the SIMS 3, You should go ahead and purchase this game with the base game as in: Sims3 + University Life, for this amazing price. PS: It is worth every penny!!

This DLC is also quite fun. If you have some money and plan on buying Sims 3 DLCs, then this is the one to get right after Late Night. I highly recommend waiting until it's on sale, however.

It's alright. Not my favorite expansion, but definitely not the worst. There are some new social interactions between the sims which are fun. Some college themed furniture, but still very similar to the base game items. The introduction of social groups is a nice touch. There are fun things like having your sim stage a protest, spray painting buildings, and dumpster diving. I would have liked this expansion to be a bit crazier... It introduces some college themed parties, but it still ends up with sims just gathering together and kinda standing around aimlessly even if you have their free will on.

I recommend being cautious about how many credits you sign your sim up for in a term, otherwise you end up with your sim stuck at school all day and hardly any social interaction. I guess that's just like real life, haha!

So I created a household of 3 sims to send to college. I had one sim start a blog. Life was going good, until my roommates caused fires, and lots of them. I then had my sim fall in love with a firefighter and then the three sims went home, but they couldn't contact their boyfriends (all 3 of them are girls), which sucked. When I got my sims out to the real world, they started working and their "house" was just a bed and a science machine, so, back to college! The whole time my sims were there they were keeping up on academics and maintaining their needs. On other profiles, with sims in college, they could never get stuff from coffee shops and my same old roommates in Malan Hall were geniuine pyromaniacs. The often crazy, cramped schedule sends my sims home with low needs. I would recommend sending your sim around with candy bars and if you have generations or island paradise, give them a sleeping bag or tent, so that way they can maintain their most crucial needs between classes. I had fun with my sims at college, sending them to parties and maintaing blog posts and academic studies, but it wasn't really everything the trailer advertised. Also, it was insane, trying to get plantsims, but in the end I got 3. So I guess I would recommend this. Just remember that candy bar trick.
