A pair of incestuous werewolf siblings, an orc, a dark elven witch, a vampire and his skeptical boyfriend, and their dog all move into a house.

Seriously, those two werewolves act closer than siblings really should.

Magical mayhem and interpersonal chaos ensue alongside the ordinary sims gameplay, along with new skills, furniture/clothes, careers, and other additions to the game you already love all come together to make a pretty great addition to the game. while there aren't any BIG new mechanics aside from the new life-states, this expac is a pretty good adition to the base game, (which cost 50 dollars when it came out, mind you)

Also furry bias for werewolves, i guess. either way, a pretty good expansion.

A seriously fun DLC. Vampiers, faries, etc. Loads of fun.

THIS IS NOT WORTH TWENTY BUCKS!!!

Wait until it is on sale and buy it. The Sims 3 DLCs are horribly over priced.

Despite this DLC being quite fun, it is definitely over-priced. I heavily recommend waiting until it's on sale.

This is definitely my favorative expansion for Sims 3. Each life state adds so many more abilities and possibilities for supernatural storytelling/gameplay, it's crazy! I actually didn't expect much from this pack, but really glad I picked this one. The werewolves and vampires are what I would expect so playing them is fun, but not too tricky. The witches are great, but it does take a while for them to learn new spells. My favorite life state is probably fairy. Seriously entertaining just dropping a fairy or two into a household and watching what they get up to. My least favorite life state is ghost, simply because, well, they ARE ghosts so some of their options are limited (for example, ghosts and living sims can't have babies).

The zombies aren't too worrying. They appear automatically during a full moon, but you can adjust the moon cycle or turn it off entirely. They mostly just growl at other sims then wander around the backyard. If they get into a garden, they'll eat the plants, but if your garden is gated and set on lock to everyone outside the family, then it's no worries.

The new town is great. I don't think it's one of the most beautiful towns of the expansion packs, but it definitely adds some epic Victorian styled houses, some nice clubs and other supernaturally themed venues, and an overall creepy feeling. Also, great selection of new clothes, hair, and furniture to choose from. You can even set how much body hair you want your werewolves to have when they're transformed.

I love this DLC! Instead of just being a plain, old, boring human, you can be other things! Pretty awesome. ;D

    - Poor werewolf will get paid if he makes a smooth recovery, which requires that he insult someone first
    - is too nice to purposefully insult someone
    - remembers that Sims find it insulting if a werwolf does the "sniff inappropriately" option in the "friendly" menu
    - decides to use that on a stranger sim he just met
    - recieving sim named John laughs and seems to enjoy it
    - I am very confused this has never happened before not even his husband lets him sniff
    - "Balthazar has learned that John has the flirty trait"
    -

To be honest, this expansion is a great buy for 20 bucks. It comes with an incredible amount of clothes, furniture, skills, and states.

It also comes with new plants, and an easier way to collect gems/bugs/metals (werewolves can hunt for these in grassy areas), if you want to collect things. It's rather fun to get a witch (they have increased ability to use alchemy althoguh any sim can learn the skill) and a werewolf and fairy (increased gardening) to provide them with the ingredients to make potions.

However, it does come with an annoying feature. Every full moon, and there is no option to turn this off, your town will become flooded with zombies. Your sims will be completely distracted by them every time they walk outside, making outdoor activity impossible, and if you lost your peashooter email (LIKE I DID), they'll eat any ungated plants you have. Luckily, the game comes with indoor planters, making an indoor garden possible (this is also useful in the winter if you have the Seasons expansion), but your trees still need to be outside (gate them, zombies can't spawn in fenced-in areas)

Now, you could turn off the zombies by turning off the Lunar cycle in the options menu, but I like the lunar cycle

Overall, I'd say this is definately worth the 20 to buy it

Also, going to parks and breaking all of the toilets with an ice spell and then setting community lots on fire with fire spells without facing any kind of punsihment is great 10/10 for mischievious witches

I had never bought the expansion packs before because I thought it might not be worth your money but honestly, this is completely different and when you have so many expansion packs and you can be a fairy that goes to university. haha It takes me to a whole different world, I recommend this one (Y)

its an okayyyy pack... but when the "full" moon comes out the lighting changes and its ♥♥♥♥ing annoying. along with the lighting change there are zombies that come out and eat you plants all the time and you will get sick of it quick. other than that its okay

While I think it is fun since it really changes some of the looks and feelings towards the towns there are a few drawbacks that you should consider:

Werewolves are just pets that a Sim can turn into but they can still function like normal.

Zombies suck, they just attack plants or infect you if you so desire, kind of wish you could lock the door and hide.

Orginal MSRP was $40. But even though it is $20 I'd say it is worth $10.

All in all I am happy with it, and you don't have to uninstall it since a good thing they did is put options in the settings to filter out all supernaturals except zombies, You just need to disable the lunar cycle for those.

I bought this EP for my game a while back and I'm really impressed with everything.
    Never laggy or anything etc.
My only issue is the pricing. It's not worth the full $20 so I highly reccommend getting it on sale, but otherwise it was really fun to mess around with and still is.
