"Showed at PAX East 2012 - Clever rhythm game that begins at its end credits and works backwards from there."

Reviews

“Developer 24 Caret Games has created a frame tale for a rhythm game, and it's clever and creative. Despite all the insanity around the concept – and aside from all the weird "challenge mode" variants, unlockable ships, cute level descriptions, and all the other quirk – Retro/Grade is a well-designed music game with a completely original soundtrack.”
4/5 – Joystiq

“The game has the feel of something that was much-loved and fussed over. There is no aspect of the game that isn’t fun to look it or read, and that level of dedication goes a long way to helping the game stand out in a crowded marketplace.”
Penny Arcade

“Until now, Amplitude has been without a doubt my favorite music game, ever. Retro/Grade scratches that very same itch, but its unique marriage of high-concept premise and classic rhythm gameplay make it an all-around more satisfying experience”
10/10 – Thunderbolt Games

I really like this one. The idea of time monipulation within a such gengre is awesome! This is not my genre, but this game did its job - I've got a lot of fun playing it.
Gamepad vibrates to the beat of the music - is so very awesome!
And credits were nice :D

I bought this game for 99 cents. It's been hanging around in my wishlist for some time now because I always thought it looked like a pretty neat game. It looked fun. I got it finally and I very much enjoy it. The developers did a VERY good job on this game and, if you like rhythm games, you should definitely check this out. I promise you will like it. I should have bought it a long time ago when it wasn't on sale. The devs deserve so much more.

Synopsis- Interesting music rhythm matchup and side scroller shooter. You travel back in time and must select the proper lanes where you had "fired" your shots while avoiding the enemies shots coming from your back and front

Yea-
*Really nice mashup of rhythm and sidescroller shooter
*Lots of nice effects while not distracting you
*Boss fights are interesting mechanic wise

Meh-
*Music is not my cup of tea, but did fit the feel
*Rollercoaster difficulty, some early levels are hard, then you would get a real easy level
*Lots of difficulty levels to prepare your leaderboard creep for #1

Bleh-
*Wish there was more levels
*following the lines where to go is way to easy, as it tends to keep you out of the area of where you will be hit

Verdict- Worth a go if your into this genre of games
