About This Content

The Class 150/2 DMU is a familiar sight across England, Wales and Scotland thanks to its widespread usage by regional operators. Now available for Train Simulator, this is a super-detailed model with highly-detailed controls and cab features which have been developed to get you as close as possible to operating a real Class 150/2.

Developed jointly by Oovee Entertainment and Thomson Interactive, the Class 150/2 is a recreation of these familiar second generation diesel multiple units, built by BREL in York as part of the programme to replace British Rail’s ageing fleet of heritage DMUs. Operating across the UK, the 150/2s soon became a familiar sight, going on to find new owners following the privatisation of the network, and continuing to carry passengers all over the country to this day. Each unit in the train formation is powered by a 286-horsepower diesel engine with hydraulic transmission, enabling the 150/2 to reach 75mph and making it ideal for local and stopping services.

The Class 150/2 for Train Simulator features an accurately recreated driver's console complete with functioning key, AWS test, DRA, instrument lighting and cab lighting, and much more.

Once you've worked out how to make the thing move, you can really enjoy this fantastic engine.
However, my wipers don't work and it is constantly cutting out.

A Very, Very, VERY nice add-on. Great if you have Riviera Line, GWML to a lesser extent, Edinburgh to Glasgow and Liverpool to Manchester. Nicely detailed, sound pretty good, you don't have to have the AP sound pack, unlike others *cough* 321 *cough*! Good set-up procedure, and by that I mean there is one. Concidaring it's a RW4 train (we're now on RW7), it's very nice including the manual destination blind (F7/F8). Although (for some bazzar reason) it is not listed in the product description, there are, I believe 3 scenarios (possibly 4, don't quote me) for Edinburgh to Glasgow. Arguably one of the best DTG released locos. Hats off to Oovee and Thomson.

If I were to have one gripe, it would be the missing passenger view. Shame; if it had had one, it would be pretty much perfet, except it wouldn't be, that'sPortal. and if u want, list of liveries

- First Great Western
- Abellio Greater Anglia
- Regional Railways (You need to make that consist for QD yourself)
- Arriva Trains Wales
- Serco-Abellio Northern Rail
- National Express ScotRail
- LondonMidland

More add-ons like this, DTG. We know you can do it!

This DLC is amazing with detail, just wish there was a passenger view, apart from that, best DLC ever.

I heavily reccommend this multiple unit because it comes in liveries past and present, including Arriva and FGW to name a few. The set up is complicated, but when the master key is in everything falls into place. 10/10.

I bought this purely to fill a gap I had fora commonly used DMU as I had seen lots of scenarios using it as AI. It is a lovley little train in its own right, detailed with loads of functions in the cab and comes complete with several liveries to basically cover the majority of potential uses throughout the UK. Despite being detailed, it runs really well, I recently had trouble with another more modern DMU that gave very poor fps performance but this unit was great in the same setting.

The only thing to say against it is it has no scenarios but as it literally covers most of the UK, it would be difficult for the publishers to decide what ones to give it and there are now tons in the workshop so you can choose according to your own requirements. Overall then, yes, especially in a sale!

No scenarios but of course the workshop is always happy to stand in. Quite an advanced train, you can even change the destination boards. Thankfully this was not let down by the worst sounds ever.

Without doubt the best DLC for TS available on Steam, a pure joy to drive, great physics, comprehensive cab functionality (even a radio test) it really rewards driving without the HUD ... not only that it comes with a good cross section of skins (some unbranded), Is suitable for a wide selection of UK routes and is well supported by workshop and third parties ...

If you are into UK stock this baby is absolutely essential, worth every penny.
