“"Infected: The Twin Vaccines is a unique and interesting game, especially for its often formulaic genre. The atmosphere is eerie, the hidden object scenes and puzzles are entertaining and the bonus chapter adds an unexpected twist to both gameplay and narrative."”

First completed game of 2014!

This is a point and click/hidden object casual game. It took me around 2 hours or so to finish so it is a little on the short side. Fun game with an interesting story behind it. Not too challenging as I only got stuck twice. Once I was being lazy, the second time I just clicked in the wrong place the first time. It comes with a built in guide so a quick consult and I was on my way again. Hidden object scenes are not too challenging either and they are mixed with your typical point and click gameplay (find item, use it somewhere else, etc.). Not a bad game if you enjoy Casual HOG games and I enjoyed my time with it.

3/5 Stars.

Good game to kill some time, story is good and the entire game is made from real photos with real actors. No bugs, great atmosphere and hard enough to add some longevity. Its not worth the full price, get it with a bundle instead. Overall i enjoyed it and i recommend it to every point and click lover.

A hidden object game with puzzles, these are very difficult puzzles and the hidden object parts are difficult too. Many objects are so small their barely visible. While there are hints and a strategy guide its not fun hitting the hint button alot or using the strat guide included to figure out where to go. Most mystery games people get stuck now and then, this game is just getting stuck constantly relying on that dumb hint button to find out whats next instead of well providing a hint.

Infected The Twin Vaccine is a hidden object game that's about 2-3 hours long. Normally I'd say that's short, but for a hidden object game it's long enough. The story is entertaining and intriguing and better than 80% of the games in this genre. This is also partly thanks to the puzzles that at least make some sense. You don't have to find weird stuff when you're outside, with tens of objects that don't really belong there in the first place. No, this game uses objects that could actually lie or stand there, and keeps things realistic. Finding objects will also allow you to fix/open/destroy things that you couldn't do otherwise. So as you can see it tries to do things differently. And that I can appreciate.
And no, the game is not 100% realistic. I mean, puzzles still require objects that are found in the weirdest places, places you wouldn't ever expect them to be, but like I said it's entertaining, and that's what counts.
Infected The Twin Vaccine is a fun, casual game that's worthy of your time, if you at least know what to expect.

Like many hidden object games, The Twin Vaccine makes absolutely no sense. You have debris all around the place, yet you can only use one specific item (baseball) to break a window. You have a sledgehammer, yet you have to find oil to unjam a car door to reach inside. The story is kinda interesting, but you lose interest fast when the game is nonsense.
