The game brings a fresh new take on the city building/management genre by introducing many RPG features. In Towns you manage a settlement on top of an active dungeon. Instead of playing the hero who delves deep into the dungeon, how about playing the town that houses and caters to the hero's needs?

About This Game

The game brings a fresh new take on the city building/management genre by introducing many RPG features.

In Towns you manage a settlement on top of an active dungeon. Instead of playing the hero who delves deep into the dungeon, how about playing the town that houses and caters to the hero's needs?

Both the RPG and strategic aspects will be fleshed out over a series of sprawling dungeons.

Attract travelling heroes that will independently explore the dungeons below, fight off monsters, gain levels, special skills and collect the best loot they can find in order to clear the land of all evil!

Craft unique weapons, trade with exotic items, obtain randomized loot, set up devious death traps and build a settlement capable of holding back the forces that come up from the depths!

This could have been a great game. However the developer abandoned this, and the community is dead. Some good features such as able to bury your town and find it next time, but the game doesn't hold up to long term play and runs out of 'fun' very quickly.

Interesting game.
I play it with great interest by viewing a video about the initial development and understanding how and what then.
I advise everyone to play it. 10/10 for hardcore

Unfinished and abandoned by the developer. Stay away.

Steam is pretty much scamming at this point by not pulling this game from the store.

Do not buy this game. It is unfinished, the Ai is buggy and the tutorials are monsterous walls of text that are really not helpful. This game is a shining example of why steam need to poliece the products they allow on here better.

I didn't say anything about this game yet?

Right.

It's a Dwarf Fortress cloneish game that was abandoned in Early Access. A fiarly early stage too.
Try something else, like Gnomoria. Or Dwarf Fortress.

A perfect example of what is wrong with current indie development. Devss build to a point then stop before they finish the product. Snatch, grab and dump. DO NOT BUY! And shame on steam for not craking down on this behavior.

Abandoned game that never even got close to finishing early access in reality -- somehow, what these devs did is allowed, although I cannot imagine how.

Do not buy. Unfinished. Abandoned.

Fun concept. Build a town, Attract Adventurers to raid a dungeon down below while managing an economy to keep your town alive.

The building system was a bit annoying to get into though when it came to doing cool structures.

Unfortunately the game is dead in the water, Devs left it high and dry in early access.

This game should get taken off Steam or made free. At this point it is just a scam.

This game is not intuitive to learn, and seems to deliberately want to confuse and make the player feel frustrated when trying to achieve simple goals. I could not play more than 30 minutes of this game.
