Great music very suitable for space dreaming ;)
Unfortunately only in MP3-format with 265 kbps. But still better then the Ingame ogg-files with ca. 160 kbps.
On the official Ben Prunty FTL-Soundtrack Website you can buy in FLAC-format (lossless).

Think about deep-space travel, beautiful but dangerous. This sound track has everthing down to a tee. The music capturers everthing you could imagine. Ben Pruntly done an amazing job of this "out of this world" experience and would totally recommend this sound track 10/10

One of the many great things about FTL is its soundtrack and it's worth a purchase on sale to build out your Steam Music library.

ONE IMPORTANT NOTE: After you purchase it, you may not be able to find it to play it on the Steam Music player. When I first tried to launch it, it kept starting the game instead. Go to the Music tab under Library to play it. If it does not already appear in the list, near the top of the screen you will see the Albums pane. Next to it is a small "+" to add music. Click on it to bring up the add music window. In the left window pane, click on "Music" and now in the right, click the button to scan for music again. It should do the trick. The soundtrack is quietly tucked into the FTL game folder on your computer, it can be hard to find at first.

This is the music exactly as it appears in the game. Considering the number of tracks you'd get for the price I'd say it's well worth it. Only problem - which is consistent in Steam's audio downloads - is that if you already have the game downloaded and buy the soundtrack at a later date it doesn't add the music to your library automaticall and instead hides it in your local files for the game.

FTL: Faster Than Light's soundtrack is great study music for the most part with the vaguely retro ambient style. For those purchasing this without the base game, I highly recommend listening to the music on the base game's trailer prior to purchasing to ensure it suits your tastes. Other problem I just realized: I once fell asleep listening to this and dreamed that I died more times than I could count. 11/10 would nightmare again.
