Spoof 8 bit version of the 80's TV show "McGuyver" where you must stop a bomb exploding withing 20 seconds.

It's fun in short bursts (the way it is meant to be played - it even says so on the loading screen) and it is incredible random. One screen clicking on a man might make him open his mouth, the next it might make him fall off a building, you never know, so it's basically trial and error to hit on the correct solution. However, if you get it wrong, you usually get a quick laugh along with the chance to replay the level again. Plus it comes with tons of bonus free DLC, so if you are looking for a quick palette cleanser to play between games, McPixel might do the trick.

A point-and-click-and-wtf game. The puzzles are all trial and error 20-second little things, as interactions are really random and don't even have continuity within different levels. However, they are so random it is hilarious, and with so many levels at such a small price it is more than worth it.

More of a joke than a game. Gameplay consists of clicking randomly throughout the screen until finding the correct place. No skill or thought is required to play this game. Tedious.

McPixel, the king of gag games. A parody, unto a parody of a parody in a parodying universe. Parodyception ladies and gentlemen.

McPixel is a very simple premise, find a way to stop a bomb from blowing up in less than twenty seconds. Sometimes it's easy, requiring one or two steps, but sometimes you'll wrack your brain trying to figure out what the hell to do.

The controls are point and click, no ifs ands or buts. I took this game down in little over two hours play-time on my tablet, and have since not touched it (with good reason). After beating all the levels, finding all the gags, and playing the bonus levels, there really isn't much to do, unless you're into custom player levels.

All the gags are cheesy, including having McPixel kick people, or ♥♥♥♥ing on something, humping a PS3... you get the idea. Honestly, while I got a laugh out of a few of them, most of the gags made me want to gag.

All in all, if you need to pass time, get this on Play Store, the App Store, or any mobile device, but not here. Play it though, at least once.

“At some future period, not very distant as measured by centuries, the civilised races of man will almost certainly exterminate and replace throughout the world the savage races. At the same time the anthropomorphous apes, as Professor Schaaffhausen has remarked, will no doubt be exterminated. The break will then be rendered wider, for it will intervene between man in a more civilised state as we may hope, than the Caucasian and some ape as low as a baboon, instead of as at present between the negro or Australian and the gorilla.”

At first I found McPixel to be fairly amusing but soon enough the notion of randomly clicking on an object and observing the outcome became extremely repetitive. The order in which you have to perform each action is not always logical and is often a guessing game. I did enjoy some of the references that are made throughout the levels and I do admire the sheer amount of content that is available. There is no doubt that this game is good value for money but I felt that the gameplay is lacking.

Absurd and nonsensical, but amusing. I wouldn't pay much for it, but if you get it cheap it can be a bit of fun.

It's wtf. It's fun, but wtf. It's an interesting puzzle game with references to other games such as Mario, Portal, and many more. In conclusion, it's a wtf game. And I like WTF games. :3
