Enough has been said already about this game, and the reviews are pretty accurate in my opinion; Thomas Was Alone
is a marvellous title, not only for its puzzle-platformer mechanics but -specially- for its narration and music.
As you move these rectangular figures with different capabilities in a try to solve the level, a voice over will be telling you the story behind each one of them. The narration succeeds incredibly in making the player care about these -now called- characters. This is coupled with outstanding sound design, including a well-done sound track.
The game is rather short, but the assortment of levels give an interesting final product. Achievements are quite easy to get, so it provides a good opportunity for achievement-hunters.
On the negative side, physics often become a bit unstable on moving platforms. Also, despite music being awesome, it sometimes sounds as if multiple tracks where overlapping which turns out to be a bit on the annoying side. Finally, I personally didn't get or like the ending. Even after playing the extra chapter
All in all, a super enjoyable, surprising and superb piece of art. Recommended.
