I cannot say I would recommend this game, mainly because of the promises broken. Primarily the promise for multiplayer, Other than that area the game was a good spiritual successor to Masters of Orion 2, I won't lie and say it had amazing diplomacy, mainly because it didn't. But I loved the ability to design my ships and it did well on that, It does or did have a collision issue with ships ramming into your ship through armor and shilds and doing internal damage, but to be honest not doing a proper build of your ship is the end cause of the failure. I would definitely not pay the full price, and I wouldn't belive anything this developer says at this point, but the game was fun by itself, would have been amazing if it actually had multiplayer as promised.
Game devoper says he never promised anything like that however the kickstarter that funded the game said it was a feature in the game. Everything pointed that it would have multiplayer but sadly he has said its not going to happen.
Its true part of the issue comes from the engine losing support but that is not our fault or responsibility and version two is turn based. If i wanted turn based I would just go back to Masters of orion 2. anywas good luck which ever you choose.
