Build 1830 Hotfix

There was a serious bug that resurfaced today and was pulling down servers, the hotfix rolling out everywhere fixes that, as well as an infinite-fly exploit involving trampolines. Nothing else is in the patch.

Have fun, and thanks for bearing with us through the technical difficulties,
Max

Build 1830 - Ballista Fixes and Trench Run Offer

Hey guys! With the Trench Run release out of the way, we've been able to spend a little bit of time rounding out a KAG release.

It should be out in the next hour or so on all platforms. This release features a round of bugfixes and "finally" some balance measures on the ballista!

Still deadly, but less spammable!

  • Ballista and bolts now cost quite a lot more. The upgrade is also more expensive.
This is intended to allow them to keep their role of dominating the battlefield in short bursts, without being prone to bolt-spam and spawn spam.
  • Several bugs fixed with overlapping multiple Ballistae.
  • Chat "..." bubble is now back - except for team-chat, which can be used for stealth tunnel planning
  • BunnieTDM lighting has been modified by 8x after community complaints
  • The "Surrender" vote is no longer bugged - please check this is indeed fixed but all investigations we've done show it working as expected. It seemed to be relying on a bad seclev. Hopefully this means less end-of-game griefing and gives players a better "gg" out than nextmapping - a team can decide to throw it in together rather than relying on the enemy accepting.
  • TDM no longer "soft locks" when everybody dies at the same time
  • v_camera_ints setting saves now for those who prefer the camera working that way

Officially extending the hand to KAG players everywhere to try Trench Run!

There is also a one-time popup window which we will use for giving important information as required - we're currently using it to plug an offer extended to KAG players for 30% off Trench Run!
Use the code KAGLOVE30 when buying Trench Run here to claim your discount.
As always, you can retrieve a steam key from the panel should you prefer to play your games through steam.

Have Fun!
Max & Michal

“No other game allows you to build a castle, actively fight off invaders, and then jump onto a catapult to be flung over the walls of your rival’s castle to claim its inner sanctum as your own.”

A fun, 2D, tactical game, sure to keep you entertained for hours.

GAMEPLAY:
Three classes:
- Warrior
- Archer
- Builder

The game, you're not held back with just one class; pick one of the classes that suits your fancy, have some fun with it, and eventually change out.

There are multiple elements in this game that make it worthwhile:
- Gliding with shields (how cool is that?)
- Multiple boats to choose from
- Archers with bombs (deadly)
- Warriors with bombs
- Strategic feel to it
- Build a base using real-time physics (albeit the physics aren't the greatest)
- Customizable appearance (skins, textures, GUI, menus, etc.)
- More than I care to list

The combat is simple; block, click, and repeat. That doesn't mean it get's boring, it gets even better with more playthroughs. (Shields are extremely useful with bombs, duh.)

Workers are able to earn money, and can use some of the stuff to build a proficient base. Trap doors are useful, just put some spikes under, and watch your enemies fall into the pit.

STORY:
Since this game IS mainly focused on MULTIPLAYER, it doesn't have much of a story; save the princess. It serves more as a tutorial for a newbie (real useful). The story-mode features multiple levels, and if you don't like the princess, you can just simply murder her in cold blood, and forget about the main objective.

GRAPHICS:
By the screenshots, you weren't expecting something graphically intensive like Battlefield Hardline. Good, we don't need 'expensive graphics', this game's simple textures are simply pleasing to the eye. And if you don't like the current theme, or you simply don't like the color of the workers, you can change it.

You can either search up texture packs, or you can do the following:
- Right click the game
- 'Properties' - 'Local Files' - 'Browse Local Files' - 'Base'
- Find an image editor (Gimp, Photoshop, Pixlr, anything that suits your liking)
- Copy the destination
- Just open the images in the editor :)

MUSIC & SOUNDS:
The music is nice, as are the sounds to it. They're basic, but you shouldn't be focusing your main attention on the music anyhow (unless you want some epic battle, boss-scene music).

[9/10]

Everything is nice, everything adds up, the game is good at being itself; a war game. It does everything right, and everything is customizable.

Chivalry meets Terraria with TF's sence of humor

What a game...
Im bought it on sale like 1.5 years ago, cuz it was cheap. And then its slept in my library... until Im found it again on previous week. So...

Imagine Chivalry: brave warriors and archers fight with themself for justice.
Got it? Then forget about ranked players and turn it into 2D with pixel graphics.
Sounds mad? Then add builders - guys, who will build (but mostly destroy) everything, like if its whole terraria, but with less variety of blocks.
Still intrested? Then mix it with chickens, bombs, flying knights and Donald Trump - and you will get King Arthur's Gold :D

Pros:
+ Action, lots of action!
+ EXPLOSIONS!
+ Your shield is like f*ckin helicopter and snowboard at once!
+ MORE EXPLOSIONS!
+ Moddable - moar freedom! There is ever blоwjоb mod ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
+ Did I say EXPLOSIONS?

Cons:
- Ever more autists, than in Dota 2
- Glitches
- Archers
- Rats
- Donald Trump

11/10, would REMOVE KEBAB again

King Arthur's Gold is a game that looks like a simple side scroller on the surface, but when you get to it for the first time you're throw in to a uncaring world where men, women, and other creatures fight each other in a brutal war over bits of land, and whatever else seems worth taking. Where if you don't keep your wits about you, you may fall in battle at anytime and there're always enemies along the way willing to fight you with such reckless hate that you may wonder why you bought Kag to start with. But take heart there're also those who would defend you, those who would fight for your honour, those that you will forge a friendship with that is so powerful it could only ever be made in the heat of battle.

In short King Arthur's Gold is an adventure waiting to happen, with many friendships to be made along the way. All you have to do is climb board.
