*Steals ball and goes for a fastbreak down the lane, #13 Stops and lets defenders go past, #13 shoots jump shot and makes it* Game says it was a basd shot selection. lol From playing past 2k NBA games this is one of the best Basketball games you can get for the PC. in the 40 hours i've played, i've only experienced two glitches. One where the ball somehow ended up on the Opposing teams head and wouldn't fall off till 5-10 seconds later and the second glitch was when the opposing team had to throw in the ball and it just seemed like both teams went into limbo(easily fixable with the save and quit, return feature) Yes i would recommend this 2k experience but before buying anyone must know that all the 2k servers for this game is down, meaning if you want to play online then you're best buying 2k15. Yes it is still playable and very enjoyable but this to me is a huge downfall. Plus it just makes 2k look even more money hungry. Which i understand they want us to buy and play the newer games over this version. Sometimes the commentary and music gets redundent. Wish there was a feature where PC players could import their own playlists like in other titles but that's ok. My Rating 7.5/10. Runs great, graphiccs are decent and there are a lot of menu options for hours upon hours of gameplay.

Completely freaking rad game. I seem to be the only person in the universe who doesn't care about playing a sports game online, so I can't say anything about the online aspect. What I can say is that it is one of the best sports games ever made, up in the tier of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 for the PS2, and Madden 09 for the PS2. The graphics are good enough, the gameplay is great and intuitive, there's a wide selection of ways to play the game, and the commentary is actually good. Seriously, barely anyone talks about the commentary but it's one of the best parts compared to other sports games. Also has complete controller support, which is a must, because playing with keyboard feels like piloting a submarine you know nothing about. The game also is very easy to mod, but don't expect anything crazy, you can only make the game look better. Overall great sports game, would recommend to any sports game or basketball fan. Can't wait for 2k16!

An inferior game when compared to NBA 2k12.

Aside from the servers being shut down, so there's absolutely no online functionality:
* Teammates and opponents alike don't box out and rebounds will sometimes magically teleport into a player's hand
* The controls and the game will often fight you when you're trying to move, particularly when you're trying to defend a quick opponent, so you end up going the opposite direction than you indicate with your controller first before going in the direction you want to.
* Significant foul bias in favor of the AI to a point where a player-controlled player may get hit 3 or 4 times and still not get a foul call, while an AI-controlled player gets a foul called for being breathed on.
* During MyCareer, bigs on your team who rebound the ball will hold it to prevent a fast break.
* Collision detection is bad; sometimes, for no reason, you getting sucked into a collision with a player even though you're not trying to go towards them.

Basically, this is a roster update, and one that costs 30USD. Save your money, go play NBA 2k12 instead.
