You can do anything in this game... Also, if the thing you want isn't in it already, you can make it in the object editor or check out the workshop to see other players' ideas! :D

Pros:
Lots of items to create
Catchy music
High-definition graphics
Player-created objects

Cons:
-Isn't truly unlimited
-Some puzzles are lame

*sigh* I so badly want to say that I reccommend this game...but I can't.

It's an enjoyable game. It's put together nicely. It has a good soundtrack and good art style, but the gameplay is what kills it. The solutions to the puzzles are either incredibly obvious or so specific that it takes far too long than it should to figure out. Also, some of the solutions are silly. For example: About mid-game you come across a guy who is looking for the Fountain of Youth, so you spawn the Fountain of Youth right before his very eyes... AND IT DOESN'T WORK. You're actually supposed to give the guy a MAP. "Okay, fair enough," I thought. "he wanted to FIND the Fountain of Youth, not settle for the cheapo Fountain of Youth that I was dishing out." Closer to the end of the game, however, you come across a Shepherd who has lost his sheep. So you spawn a sheep, and the Shepherd says something along the lines of "Nice try. That's not my sheep!" Fair enough. He's obviously a good Shepherd if he can tell whether or not the sheep belongs to him.. So, I figured it was one of those puzzles where the object I need is "hidden" somewhere in the level. After searching the place over about 2 or 3 times and coming up empty I decide to give the guy a map... and it works. Why on earth would you need a MAP to hunt down a SHEEP?

Also, the message at the end of the game is very VERY generic. Almost anticlimactic even. It's a good message, don't get me wrong. But it sort of makes it obvious that this game is intended for younger players. As such, it causes older players to hear it and say, "...That's it? THAT'S the big takeaway?!"

It's a solid game, but I can't say I reccommend it. Not at full price anyway.

However, if you decide to disregard the negative reviews and purchase the game anyway, here's some tips for you:

#1. Got an immovable object you need removed? If you can apply an adjective to it, give it the adjective "missing."

#2. If you're going to 100% the game, you'll need to complete the Object Shard objectives found in the pause menu. Some of these are VERY specific, so don't be ashamed to use a guide.

#3. Try to play for no more than an hour at a time. In my experience, if I played for any longer, I quickly became very annoyed with the game and stopped enjoying it.

Overall, the game is decent, but it isn't as good as I was hoping it would be. If you must buy it, don't do it at full price. $20 is WAY too much. $5 or under seems about right.

This is the funniest game ever. It lets you use your creativity at maximum power, and it tests your ability to solve problems. (For example: there's a Hansel and Gretel part where you can use ANYTHING to make them mark the way up to their house, including a GPS.) I've spent so many hours on this, and I regret nothing. I promise you, this is no kids' game. 10/10

The idea of Scribblenauts Unlimited really appealed to me. Using your own creativity to solve the hundreds and hundreds of puzzles without any limits. Unfortunately once i played a bit i started noticing more and more Scribblenauts isn't as unlimited as it claims to be. Now don't get me wrong Scribblenauts Unlimited is a very fun game and has some nice and creative locations you travel to! It runs really smooth and has almost no loading times at all. But the game is just really limited, often i tried solving puzzles in fun and creative ways and ended up on google asking myself why nothing works, with the dissapointing news you could only choose from a set of solutions the developers already choose. This way the game starts to feel like a chore after a while, just solving the puzzles with the most basic solutions because those are the only ones that work most of the time.

Now this wouldn't be that bad if the puzzles would actually be challenging, but since this game is aimed more towards kids the puzzles are often so easy they're just boring. However Scribblenauts has some really nice and fun points aswell, you can costumize your own character and all of the different NPC's. And although the puzzles aren't as free as the game claims them to be, there are still quite a few items in the game to mess around with and you can create literally everything you can think of. The artstyle is unique and fits the game perfectly and the music is really catchy.

Yes this game can be fun, especially for kids. And even i enjoyed this game, just not till the end cause it got way to repetitive after a while. Don't buy this and expect to get creative by solving the puzzles, buy this if you like solving basic and easy puzzles, don't mind a bit of repetitivty and enjoy messing around to create fun and original stuff.

Wonderful for those who loves to create wacky things such as "gigantic evil frostbreathing atomic explosive cute cthulhu". Although some people might say they got bored after finishing every puzzles in the game, there is actually a lot more things to do using the object editor, creating more objects for the game (fictional characters, politicians, musicians, etc.), creating fights between mythical creatures, spawning dozens of objects only to completely disintegrates them by creating a black hole.

Pros:
-Lots of items to create
-Catchy music
-High-definition graphics
-Player-created objects

Cons:
-Isn't truly unlimited
-Some puzzles are lame

I love this game personally, I've finished the every puzzles but I found myself keep coming back to it. I bought this game on sale for 2.50 USD, absolutely worth the price.

This is one of my favorite games. However, it has its flaws.

If you dont want to read this entire review, scroll all the way to the bottom, There's a tl;dr version.

So first off, the title lies.

The object creator is limited. The fact that it says "Unlimited" in the title makes it feel like the creator just wants money. It really takes alot of the fun away from the game, but don't get me wrong. I know it was made in 2012 and making everything "Unlimited" would kill your computer's memory, but this still is pretty dissapointing.
Basically, my point is; Don't buy the game unless you know what to expect, or you've played the game before on something like the Wii U.

Second, the small space in all of the levels.

I haven't played through the entire game yet, but im getting there. What really bothers me more than the limited object creator is that the levels are just so small.
If you've only played things like Big RPGs, Shooters, and Garry's Mod, then this game is going to be weird for you.
Although each level has enough space for you to create several things, the free space could be bigger.

Finally, the price is too high.

I don't think this game's worth 20$. Like i mentioned earlier, the game's very limited and not what you'd expect. Please, take a moment to think about it before you buy it.
Now, lets go to the positives.

First off, the artstyle's unique.

Yes, it's a little blocky and chibi-ish, but it just works. That's all i need to say for this.

Second, you can create almost anything you want.

You can write something bad like "Invincible Strong Huge Bee" and it'll appear as an invincible strong huge bee. If its not in the game, you can make it.

Third, the gameplay.

The missions, the fact that you can create almost anything, and the high resolution is just what you'd expect from a Scribblenauts game.

Finally, that feeling you get when playing Scribblenauts.

The feeling of wondering "When will there be another game?"

10/10.

Tl;dr: The game's limited, the levels are too small, and the price is too high. But the artstyle's unique, you can create almost anything you want, and the feeling of wondering "When will there be another game?" While playing this.
10/10

This game is surprisingly entertaining! I have seen my daughter play it a lot on her DS so assumed it was a kids game but some of the stuff requires much thought to figure out what these characters need you to create for them. Some things can be funny, some mundane and some dangerous. Yes you can put something out that will kill your people and then you must start the level again. Some are inevitable and restarting does not cause you to lose progress.

The workshop also has lots of additional content you can download. To do so you must do it from in game. If you go and just subscribe through steam about 95 percent will NOT show up. To do so go to the object editor (the glue and scissors) and then subscribe from there.

Its great when you need a break from the FPS, RPG or Dinos! I had so many hours in ARK that when my husband asked me a question while I was groggy I responded I will just bring my T-Rex! Yes I was serious and he thought I lost it LOL So this game has given me a much needed dino break, cartoon dinos don't count!

A game where anything can happen! And I mean literally anything!

You want Iron Man fighting Cthulhu with a rocket launcher? You got it.

You want to fly on a purple cow while throwing pianos at people? You got it.

You want to summon a Barbarian and dress it as a princess? Sure, but I wouldn't recommend that unless you make him friendly.

In general I'd say it is a really fun game for everyone. It is full of possibilities and also a good choice to play with little children or your family. Plus it has a cute fun storyline that drives the main plot.

I have looked at this game for several time before I decide to buy this game on discount. Videogame is fun on itself, and importantly gameplay system is more creative than another games I have played before. Scribblenauts Unlimited expands my sense of curiosity about English language, and of course it helps me learn some words I don't even know before such as, defibrilator. On the other hand, level design of Scribblenauts Ultimate sometimes makes me feel it's harder to find what word I need to take in the gap. However this game has a 2D graphic, I guarantee if you like intellectant videogame, this game can offer you a ton of English language's knowledge and general knowledge that we should know as well.
