FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DON'T GET THIS ♥♥♥♥ING GAME. What it apparantly forgets to tell you in the game description is it comes bundled with nGuard Game Protector. Which (if you know your PC gaming) impliments living hell onto your machine. Of course, you can remove it. But, y'see, that's the difficult part because it is also a keylogger and therefore won't show up ANYWHERE in your programs list, files. If someone has a way of removing nGuard without crippling my PC please send me a message.

I have played this game in Perfect World Entertainment's Client quite a bit so my play time does not reflect the actual amount of time I have spent with the game.

A lot of people are complaning about technical problems, I have played this game for hundreds of hours and installed it on a few different machines and have never had a single issue. I feel that this is an issue where those who have problems are reporting them and those that are not are simply posting nothing so you largely just see those who have technical problems posting these reviews. If you do have technical problems then I am very sorry for you are missing out on an entertaining experience.

Is this game worth installing? Yes, if you have even bothered to scroll down this far it is worth installing, if you are interested in playing a straightup "action" MMO then RaiderZ can give you that. It is the closest we have yet come to a monster hunter game in the west and it lives up to that comparison.

The game's support has fallen off but there are still occasional updates and server restarts. Hackers do dominate PvP but you can now bypass "forced" PvP sections entirely.

That game seemed to very promising so I decided download it, but after installing it was unable to connect to my account, I tried to change the password, e-mail, but nothing changed so I decided to create a new account, now on the american site, and nothing came, after so many attempts I got nothing, so I gave up.

The game looks promising but I thought awful and frustrating this problem for now not recommend.
Sorry i don't speak english very well ^-^

If you're having the freezing problem, Then it's just a steam bug, Pretty common one too.
To launch the game so it'll work propperly you need to find the launcher at this location:

Then somewhere pretty far down on the list of things in the RaiderZ folder, Find the RaiderZ Launcher and well.. Launch it.
Don't click right at the RaiderZ program, It'll crash.
If you click the launcher however, It'll work nicely, It might show the launcher without the play button, If so just click the RaiderZ icon on your taskbar twice and the ''play'' button should appear, Not sure why it does this.

Hope this helped you all.

As for the critiqe on the game : It's indeed great, Large and nice world, You feel strong all the way and enemies have original designs here, You get challenged very fast in the game wich supplies the feeling of getting somewhere in the game, Wich is a sadly offen forgotten element to games.
The game is a huge fantasy world with just about all th casualties you'll find.
Female model's have as skimpy armour as possible and males have over the top bulky armour blablabla, However, Armour and the weapons and just about everything is indeed amazing on the design past.
As for gameplay, You'll learn pretty fast how the combat system and the game works.

Most PC's can run it since it runs on a sorta old specs for a PC. (Not saying it doesn't lag at all, It is a huge world with a lot of juicy graphics.) A classic feeling fantasy game at it's best.

I indeed do recomend this game.

Now, listen here, just because a game is a Free to Play MMORPG doesn't mean it's a bad game. Although this is the case with some others.
Anyway, RaiderZ is a game in which, surprise, you're NOT a Raider in any sense of the word. Your 'goal' is to kill things. Do you have a better explanation? Then how about you write a review? Huh?!

****s and giggles aside, RaiderZ is actually a fun game, as long as you can fix the lag problems that will happen eventually and the ear-splitting music at the Character Select screen.

I know what you're thinking. "But Horris, this game sounds dumb. All you do is walk around and kill things. Why would you ever think is game is even playable, jeez 101gitrektscrub. (noone says that in a normal sentence)"

Ahah, that's the thing though. Killing these monsters is fun, especially with friends, due to over-the-top weapons. I mean, a class with a 2-handed sword AND mace? Jeez.

But without further ramble, I shall conclude this review with a few words of wisdom, such as this is the MMORPG version of Monster Hunter in my eyes. Does it dissapoint? No. There are some minor setbacks, such as monotone voices the NPCs have, but that doesn't really matter. The skills you unlock while you level up are amazing and fun to use. When you're in a party with a group of your friends, this gets multiplied by how many people are with you (I dunno physics).

I pretty much like the game. Though it may be a bit mistreated by its current publishers, its incredible fun. The combat-system is active and surprisingly fluent, meanwhile graphics are just amazing for an MMORPG. It is true that the available quests in this game are rather common and a bit overused, but keep in mind, what else do you expect? There are not that many possibilities for developers to create quests for an MMORPG, except kill this one, collect this, talk to him, etc. etc. Furthermore you actually won't see that many instances but those which you have to accomplish, are enterable with your mates, so they are quite fun anyway and unlike instances in other MMORPGS, these are not even annoying or cheap, infact, they are extremly well made. Of course there are some negative aspects and glitches, like the quite ungrateful and lazy publishers or the "small map", with "only" about 500 hours of gameplay to finish all quests and probably to reach the max. lvl. of 40. The classes are cool, all fun and well balanced, meanwhile PvP is actually always fair and challenging, since you are only going to fight either in the arena a 1 vs. 1 against your opponents or in the huge available PvP area with many mates. Pay2Win does not exist, since you can only buy costumes and other combat-irrelevant stuff -> If you don't want to spend any money, you will not have to spend any money. I didn't have any issues considering installation problems.

All in all it's a game which is fun as hell, but unfortunately it does not use all of it's potential. Anyway I can say for sure:

A warning that this comes bundled with nProtect GameGuard, a rootkit, would have been nice. GameGuard, according to wikipedia "hides the game application process, monitors the entire memory range, terminates applications defined by the game vendor and INCA Internet to be cheats (QIP for example), blocks certain calls to Direct X functions and Windows APIs, keylogs your keyboard input". Now I have to make sure that uninstalling the game removed the damn thing.

i been playing this game a since a few months after launch, the game it self is ok at best, staff work is poor, long delays in update. 1 update for an entire year, servers riddled with bugs, chimera and fleetfoot, staf admited to neglecting to fix load bugs, party bugs etc on both servers as tehy arent a priority due to population. very poor handling of the game and very poor management, the game is f2p yes but the power gap between a free user and paid user even though reduced in the 2nd update the game ever got, and it still is stuck at the previous level cap, it is still considerably big. the game is very grindy and boring, sombat system is ok but outdated and if you all bothered to look at the one q&a eith the senior product manager of pwe in charge of raiderz you will see even staff have little to no clue about the game or its content, also little to no events ever.

100% avoid. I wanted to like RaiderZ as a huge Monster Hunter fan. I followed RaiderZ during it's beta, but didn't like the beta that I played. I was JUST considering trying it again before it came on Steam... but when I did it was nothing but disappointment.
It's essentially a terrible version of Tera (Tera-ble?). Lets get Tera on Steam and this game can get buried like it deserves.
Atrocious textures and visuals. Voice Acting that sounds like a robot, the worst in the MMO market. I am certain I heard free grunt sound effects that I used to hear in Starcraft in the 90's as well as Spiderweb Software shareware RPGs at the same time. Controller Support is pointless and designed for 0 usability. Combat is boring, classes are boring, design of the world and monsters are boring.

I could go on, but the time it took you to read this review is how long you would have needed to determine RaiderZ is for absolutly no-one. Don't waste your bandwidth or time.

There's no way i'm going to recommend this game until they fix:

1. Compatibility issues with newer Windows OS'
2. Login issues
3. It even breaks Google Chrome while it's running, you got to be kidding me
4. Issues with AMD card drivers

This game. Ohhhhh let me tell you about this game.

After spending about 15 minutes attemping to make an account, and the website giving errors everytime I tried to finalize - it apparently was creating accounts. So not only am I now the proud owner of about 3-4 accounts, I have to deal with this torment in my email for the rest of my life.

After drowning myself in anguish after the hassle of creating an account for this hell cursed game, I decided I'd give it the benefit of the doubt and give it a shot.

After attempting to log in, and waiting for 10 seconds - it kicked me off the game. Excellent. I figured "hey, let's try it again! Maybe it was just having a network error on their part".

Well, I got to log in, only to see the gawdy character creation that is the downfall of the artistic values in this game. I figured "let's click the COG at the top right and change some settings - only to see some poorly designed Low/Medium/High buttons". Of course with my computer, I naturally press "high" ancticipating an entire graphical benefit and change. Not even a little bit. Still looks as if someone threw up crayons onto a block of wood.

I throw myself into the game, and as soon as the loading screen completes, I am rudely yelled at by the Narrator screaming at me to press WASD to navigate. But during her mid sentence she was rudely interuppted by the hardcore 'intense' music that this game offers, at full scale volume. How unfortunate.

After speaking to my NPC and listening to his stale as hell voice, which sounds about as monotone as a giraffe or-gasm - I decided to give it even more hope. I attempted a strike on a few enemies. At that point, I re-evaluated my entire existence on this game and removed it immediately.

Best game - Game of the Year every year. 0/10

Me being a huge MMORPG fan, these types of games normaly come to my attention quite early in Beta. This one just slipped through, and me not knowing about it tell very recently. I've put 60 hours into it in the last 2 weeks. I've basically stopped playing every other game just to play this one. This game is very addicting, although kind of slow at the beginning. Now, I know what all the hardcore players will be saying. 'WoW was the first and best RPG.' Not true. Other people like other things, yes. So I urge you monster hunting fans to give RaiderZ a go. One huge turn off to me is that it came with a gamegaurd, probaly the worst one too. nProtect Gamegaurd. I'll get to that later though. Being an addicting game, RaiderZ will appeal to all monster hunting fans. It isn't a toolbar bashing game either. It can be, but it mostly is pressing a button to combo most of your attacks to one big one. Now, playing 60 hours in 2 weeks is kindof alot right? Well, considering of how much time I've played in the last few weeks, I haven't came across any game breaking bugs. Which is suprising, honestly. The level cap is 40, which doesn't seem like a whole lot. But me putting 60 hours into the game got me to about level 25. Meaning, its hard to level.

Some features of RaiderZ-

- 5 classes (Defender, Beserker, Cleric, Mage, and Assassin) and theres been some talk about a hunter
- Interesting looking armour for each class
- Great PvP
- Great leveling system
- Skill tree is interesting
- If you mess up your skill tree you can reset and and get all your skill points back
- Can mix classes (meaning you can have a tank who also heals)
- Warzone once you reach level 23
- Amazing monsters
- Great boss battles
- Challanging dungeons
- Good community

Now, back to Nprotect Gamegaurd. Yes there are some bad things that come along with it. But the worst thing is it breaks Google chrome while your playing RaiderZ. Which isn't really a big deal, if your like me and like to listen to music while doing some quests. Just use either a mobile device or another browser. Simple. (:

Of course, it being a game in general it has some annoying aspects aswell like...

- Once your reach warzone, level 30-31's kill you while your level 23
- Once in a while grinding of mobs and dungeons
- Most Clerics (healers) don't know what their doing
- Not as many mounts as I'd hope to be
- Kindof pay-to-win
- Monster textures/skins re-used
- NPC textures/skins re-used
- Voice acting is kindof weird
- Random frame drop while in Ingen and while PvP'ing

If those don't matter to you, because they don't matter to me. Then this game is for you. I completely reccomend this to anyone who wants to try another RPG because you won't be dissapointed. If anyone would like some ingame tips, my name in game is.

- Alfani - Level 25 Defender (at time of review)
- Arcadium - Level 13 Cleric (at time of review)

A lot of people are comparing this to a Monster Hunter series but its not entirely true. At a glance we have action combat, big monsters and dungeons. I like the variety of weapons and armors you can wear and graphically this game is pretty good.

There are few things that annoy me however. First cash shop where you can buy scrolls that will give you +10% drop rate (!) exp etc. Which feels unfair at least to me.

The reason I can't recommend this game is simple. Gameplay. This is nothing like Monster Hunter. This is more leaned towards Tera and Dragon Nest. Hit boxes on enemies are terrible. Even if you dodge monster quite often will still hit you, skills and action bars give this game more MMORPG look ( which Is actually not that bad ). Unlike Monster Hunter however you will have monster roaming randomly in the world so you will have to wait for respawn only to find that some player who landed the first hit will get the loot...

Combat is unpolished and it feels cheap at times. Did I mention that later in the game there is a lot of grinding ? Yep a Lot of grinding and UNLIKE really good Monster Hunter, some monster will kick your butt if you try them solo... Sometime trying to find a party can take a long time.
Quests can get repetetive and apart from getting new equippment there is little to do.

Also servers are in US. That means that people from Europe ( which happens to be me ) can expect lags.

I will give it 6/10. Because there is fun to be found there, good graphics ( and character creator ), unpolished combat but good atmoshpere ( Monsters and Areas look good ).

I just can't recommend it... then again you can try it for yourself after all it's free to play? or is it?...

The game is the best MMORPG I've ever played, but the company which manages it is the worst you could ever think of. Servers lag and freeze every five minutes, there are hackers and many bugs that have been there since the first days of the Beta release. When people started quitting due to no new content nor weekly/monthly events, the company thought about advertising it on Steam, and now here it is, claiming new victims to trick.
I still play this game, its hard to leave it when you've played it for so long, too many hours wasted just to leave it for good.
I just cant. If you're reading this and you want to try this game, just DONT.
