About This Game

Dungeonland is a co-operative hack and slash game that takes players on a deadly tour through a medieval theme park. Playing as The Rogue, The Warrior or The Mage, the heroes will need to work together as a team to get past the evil overseer of this “Tragic Kingdom” – The Dungeon Maestro.

The truly diabolical can even take on the role of the Dungeon Maestro himself and wreak havoc on friends. Unleash the killer rabbits, drop some exploding frogs in their path, or whip up a giant fan and blow them all away.

Key Features:

  • Strategic Co-op Gameplay: Utilize each character’s unique skills and weapons, combine their special powers to form all new attacks, or just plain hack and slash your way through this treacherous theme park
  • Competitive Multiplayer: Play as the Dungeon Maestro himself and unleash evil on your friends. Summon your minion to thwart the heroes, conjure spells or take control of a boss monster and get in the action yourself. Then push the Evil Laugh button and let your sinister cackle reverberate throughout the land
  • Replayability: The DM AI randomizes monsters, treasures, and dangers each session to create a unique experience; player choice in equipping items creates endless combinations for more variety
  • Prepare to DIE: Dungeonland is a dangerous place – making your way past its deadliest attractions will be an extreme challenge. Only the hardiest of heroes need apply

Gameplay and leveldesigns are awsome sadly this game is close to impossible to play by now. because all the servers are gone, wich is a big problem because it is a VERY Co-op heavy game.
I enjoyed this at launch but sadly It's unplayable now

I loved this game! It is hilarious, easy to play, and fun. If you have ever played D&D, or pretty much any RPG game, I think you will find this game very entertaining.

It is definitely a casual game, and as such, I HIGHLY recommend playing it with friends! Without friends, you lose a lot of the "Gah! I'm going to get you!" dynamic, and it quickly becomes the same thing over and over. But with friends... infinite awesomeness!

(And no, I am not a bot, I just like what I like :)

A laggy version of the old game gauntlet, with a newer look. Free to play, pay to win.

So now the standard game rating:
  • Story: 2/10 (Deep-Dark-Dungeon Master owns a theme park centered around being a dungeon for heroes. no other story.)
  • Gameplay: 5/10 (reminiscent of the old gauntlet game, but if you're going to have a game this hard, you can't have the lag cripple the player. Unacceptable.)
  • Presentation: 8/10 (Looks good, but looks are deceiving.)
  • Soundtrack: 7/10 (It's there.)
  • Replayability: 10/10 (the game could have you grind away to play for a decent amount of time, or you could pay 1 payment of $9.99 and skip all of that.)

This game's pretty great, it has a few bugs and doesn't always run amazingly, but it's generally very fun, especially with 4 players (one as a DM). I don't feel that it's too repetitive, but I would recommend investing in the additional mobs for the DM after a couple of games as it helps keep gameplay fresh and interesting.

While it was a great game for the first hour or so, It began to become boring for the lack of content. half of it being locked for p2p. which sucked a little. Would become much more interesting if the game has more alternatives to classes. and if modes such as areans became enabled.

It was a fun romp, until the servers went down...

It is an exetremely co-op heavy game so having to play singleplayer with subpar bots is not fun.

Right now the game is unplayable, wait for a patch that fixes the server crisis.

I made my friend ragequit with muslcular spinning ducks, giant floating fans and giant flying spiders.(10/10)

But seriously, this game is like a RTS game...which doesn't take itself seriously at all.

Best thing about this game?
Explosions,blood,gore and murder

It is a fun game but.. no one plays it. If you want to play it get 2 more friends to come with you.
Not going to recommend the game because it lacks solo-ability. The bots you play with are horrible. Anything beyond the most easy difficulity is impossible.

Don't get it if you're looking to play with anyone! This game has been discontinued. You can only play with 3 people, not 4 like the trailer says, so the 4-pack is a waste, and the only way to play is local.

An I7 with dual titans could play this game at 640x480 at about 10fps, poorly optimised game that has graphics that don't justify the slow down even on moderately powerful systems. Should have been better can't believe I actually paid money for this before it went FTP, which I'm guessing was a ploy ressurrect this fetid corpse.

Probably fun with friends since it seemingly has very good multi-controller support but when playing alone or online there are definitely better options out there for the sort of mindless ARPG mayhem this should deliver.

A dungeon crawling RPG with a modern execution but an old-school heart. A gaggle of 3 prisoners have shipwrecked on the secluded Isle of Nex. The island is chock full of ancient crumbled ruins, mysterious shrines and a vast underground network of dungeons. I sometimes miss my first girlfiend Tanya, and kiss her in my dreams. We never kissed because I was waiting till marriage.

Oh boy, where to start..

Dungeonland is was a casual multiplayer hack and slash with your usual fighter-mage-rogue classes and roleplaying elements. Nobody plays it anymore and the servers are dead. The developers have abandoned this one to a cold cyber grave. It's free now, so try it if you wish. But there really isn't much of a game left anymore.

Personally, I think your time would be better spent elsewhere.

This game is pretty good, it's fun to play with friends.

The shop does not have Pay to Win item's and able buy items with in-game coins, there are some bundles but they include extra cosmetics and weapons, there are no stats for your items which is pretty cool.

Then you host a game to play with your friend, you can't put a password onto the lobby or even reserve a slot, a lot of random people join and start to rush through your quests while trying to collect coins and waste all your lives and having to start again.

This game needs a kick feature.

Definitely do not recommend this game!!!

The game in itself is fun but it has so many bad things that are just infuriating to deal with.

-You can't kick people: You're basically stuck with whoever wants to join your game forever. Your team only get a set amount of lives so if you have someone who sucks and they take away all your lives then there's nothing to do about it. If you have someone who rushes through the map and doesn't want to collect any of the coins, tough luck because you can't do anything about it. If you have someone who joins and then goes AFK you can't even start the match because there's no way of kicking this person. If you have someone who joins and just stays at spawn waiting for you to collect coins and do all the work, tough luck because you can't kick this person.

-There are a lot of trolls who join your game and do absolutely nothing, which brings me to my next point...

-There are hardly any players, and hardly no games to join.

-There is basically only ONE map and that's it. There are two game modes, both with the same map, and if you want anything else you have to pay real money for it.

-Exact same waves over and over again and just one map make for an amazingly boring game after the first hour playing it.

Total waste of time. Play only if you enjoy waiting 30 minutes in a lobby because you're on the last stage and someone joined your game but went AFK and now you can't kick them but you also don't want to leave because you almost completed the last boss stage in hard mode.

Played this for a couple of hours now. I have not had a single round that I didn't enjoy myself. And recently got the DLC pack with even more evil spells in store. Watch out Heroes! AHAHAHAHAHA!

I'm really sorry to say that I can't recommend it no matter how cool it is. It looked extremely promising due to the fact that I enjoy detailed games with a good amount of comedy, I was expecting that. But I was wrong, oh so so very wrong. Dungeonland is a Online/Co-Op Action Casual action brawler that just isn't that fun. The controls are pretty clunky, ♥♥♥♥s you over with the connection. I get into a match and I get lagged out the second the round starts even though I get 5 bars on my samsung laptop being right next to the router. The servers feel abandoned. Their is barely anyone there and the game is full of bugs, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, still gets too many frame drops which is sad since it's 3.5GB which means it should run smoothly, but it just doesn't. The classes are bland, the difficulty curve isn't fair because you really don't get a good view of it. And in general this game was just god awful. It kind of feels like puking out a tampon shoved up your ♥♥♥ after several hours not fun. Critical Studio, and Paradox Interactive. Next time you make a game, don't dun ♥♥♥♥ the whole thing up. Especially when this game could of been just ♥♥♥♥ing amazing. Just shame, is all I have for this, just shame. :(....

This game have so many problems with its servers, it makes it virtually unplayable, the glitches are everywhere and the gameplay mediocre for everyone but the dungeon master.
