"Pretty fun when you have 4 people, it plays sort of like Diablo only one is the dungeon master who spawns mobs and the rest have to try and beat him"

About This Game

Dungeonland is a co-operative hack and slash game that takes players on a deadly tour through a medieval theme park. Playing as The Rogue, The Warrior or The Mage, the heroes will need to work together as a team to get past the evil overseer of this “Tragic Kingdom” – The Dungeon Maestro.

The truly diabolical can even take on the role of the Dungeon Maestro himself and wreak havoc on friends. Unleash the killer rabbits, drop some exploding frogs in their path, or whip up a giant fan and blow them all away.

Key Features:

  • Competitive Multiplayer: Play as the Dungeon Maestro himself and unleash evil on your friends. Then push the Evil Laugh button and let your sinister cackle reverberate throughout the land
  • Replayability: The DM AI randomizes monsters, treasures, and dangers each session to create a unique experience; player choice in equipping items creates endless combinations for more variety

This abandoned free to play game that allows you to torture your friends in a dungeon of madness (and possibly bondage, if your into that kinda thing) while throwing bombs, traps and minions at their faces.

It's easy to learn, fun and very hard to find a game due to the player base being next to non-existent in the player department. The game developers have also neglected the game completely, giving up on updates and any further content. This also means they have taken down the servers, forcing you into the old fashioned way of creating a lobby and waiting 30 mins for someone to join.

Aside from all that, the gameplay can be very fun for the first hour, but soons dies out because of the ease of unlocking content, but I'm getting ahead of myself. So four people play in one game, one is the dungeonmaster who has mana and cards that act has abilities and your resource, this recharges over time and when the heroes reach certain checkpoints. Now there are three different heroes, the Rogue, the Mage and the Warrior. The assassin uses high amounts of damage to kill stronger minions while the mage uses a mix between damage magic and helpful shields to prevent your allies from being knocked down. Last is the warrior, who is meant to take a beating from the dungeonmasters cruel and kinky toys of war.

The heroes must survive with only three shared lives to spare, forcing you to revive at all costs in order to complete the dungeon. If the heroes manage to make it into the boss room, they will have a bit of a problem keeping their sanity as the dungeonmaster controls the boss and will easily kill you on any difficulty higher than easy.

Now, the cards the DM uses are unlocked with a currency you earn from playing bot or real games with players. You apply this to buy different minions, traps, bombs, turrets or bosses. These are much to easy to obtain, making the game pretty short and currency near worthless.

It's free, it's dead and it's a good game to play for an hour or two, by yourself or with friends. Give it a go, but don't expect anything in the long term.

This game was fun for a few minutes, but not much past the first level/mission. It is very cartoonish. It might be a good game for kids, but otherwise, not the best RPG I have played.

This game is a fun with or without friends. You can play as the dungeon crawler or the dungeon maestro, which is a nice take on this genre. Its fun to choose your monsters with certain benefits that could combo with each other such as the troll (Health regeneration) with the valkyrie (Heals other monsters) along possibly with a healing spell. You can customize your classes or buy new monsters with INGAME EARNED MONEY. You hear that EA? INGAME MONEY. Earned by winning by killing the crawlers or defeating the dungeon boss (Which the maestro controls). Whilst there is some buyable customization, they are completely cosmetic, only two bundles add more monsters for the maestro and is around £2.00 each. If your a slick ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like me you will probably pick up the DLC in a sale.

Provides me with major performance issues on higher resolutions (which my machine should be more than capable of handling)

On top of that, its just not a very good game

Fun, especially when you take the roll of dungeon master, they game has some laughs. It is not pay to win but more stages need to be purchased with real money all other hats weapons heroes and outfits can be bought with in game gold you earn from just playing. So far the only "con" I have seen is that the game is poorly optimized with long load times and some stuttering even on high end systems but its not to much to hold you back. I enjoyed the game I am sure you might to!
