About the Game

Dungeonland is a co-operative hack and slash game that takes players on a deadly tour through a medieval theme park. Playing as The Rogue, The Warrior or The Mage, the heroes will need to work together as a team to get past the evil overseer of this “Tragic Kingdom” – The Dungeon Maestro.

The truly diabolical can even take on the role of the Dungeon Maestro himself and wreak havoc on friends. Unleash the killer rabbits, drop some exploding frogs in their path, or whip up a giant fan and blow them all away.

Key Features:

  • Competitive Multiplayer: Play as the Dungeon Maestro himself and unleash evil on your friends. Then push the Evil Laugh button and let your sinister cackle reverberate throughout the land

Fun, especially when you take the roll of dungeon master, they game has some laughs. It is not pay to win but more stages need to be purchased with real money all other hats weapons heroes and outfits can be bought with in game gold you earn from just playing. So far the only "con" I have seen is that the game is poorly optimized with long load times and some stuttering even on high end systems but its not to much to hold you back. I enjoyed the game I am sure you might to!

A game that's all about being absolutely evil to your friends. The free version covers the Dungeon Maestro mode, and that's honestly the best part of the entire game. Don't bother with the other modes.

I would say Dungeonland is an okay-game. It's kinda new but also a little bit monotone, so it will get boring after a while. The biggest problem is that the Free-2-Play-Version isn't featuring a lot of the ingame-content (you need to buy most of the maps in fact). Anyway it's a nice multiplayer when you have an hour or two to kill. 4/10

So, I picked this up with a friend a while back(before it went free to play) and it wasn't anywhere near as good as the videos led me to believe. You can be the dungeon master and torture your friends! Except you have to use one of the 3 maps that you've probably already beat 4 times and have VERY little influence and anything you do is anounced to everyone.
As for the different characters. There's a wizard, assassin and warrior. Each character has 3 versions. The wizard sucks, especialy the ice version (version 2) version 3 is kinda utility/damage but if you compare it's damage to an assassin, it's pathetic. He has a sort of shield ability to help an ally out, which is pretty helpfull if one of your team mates is down, so the other can pick him up safely. The warrior is basically the same in each stage, but one of his versions has temp invulnerability and taunt so if you have that you can stall a huge mob to let an assassin leisurely ♥♥♥♥ everything. Assassin get's most DPS best missile speed, can insta kill pretty much every enemy if he gets behind them. If solo, second stage assassin OP, if you have a taunty warrior you can try assassin version 3 (charge ups and penetration shots).

You are forced to have 3 heroes and they share lives, so if you want to play alone, you're forced to have 2 bots who will die at the drop of a hat and waste your lives and when you run out of lives you lose. You can still be running around winning, but if a bot wastes enough lives you lose regardless.

If you're bored as hell you can go a few rounds, but it just doesn't have any real replay value after the first 10 minuts.

A decent game to play with friends together, random players or by yourself. I bought this game a couple months ago of 2013 with my own money, but I never thought they changed it to FREE to play. This is why I'm mad at this point. It's not a bad game though. You might like it or not. The video gameplay look fun at first sight, but when I played this game it wasn't exciting I was hoping. I didn't like it. You just pick one of the 3 heroes such as The Rogue, The Warrior or The Mage to attack the enemies. The Co-op mode feel like no one is playing it. It takes a while to have a single random player joining the game. Basically, it just wasted my time for waiting. So try it out whether you like it or not.
