About This Game

Live the thrilling career of an army commander and lead your army to victory in a massive online World War III! Take control of the U.S.-led Joint Strike Force, the European Enforcers Corps, or the Russian Spetsnaz Guards Brigade in a persistent ongoing World War. Create your army to match your tactical style and create a strategy that will defeat your enemies.

You Are In Control

In addition to traditional RTS controls (mouse selection, hotkeys), EndWar goes beyond other Real Time Strategy games by letting you use your own voice to control your units, offering you true control at the speed of thought.

Putting You in the Battle

Instead of using the traditional top-down view, EndWar employs a unique third-person camera that puts you in the heart of the battle, making the use of terrain and cover even more critical to achieving victory. Zoom in and out at will and watch the devastation unfold as hundreds of units engage the enemy on fully destructible battlefields.

Armed for the Future

True to the Tom Clancy legacy, EndWar offers a wide range of vehicles, weapons and equipment based on real-world military research, giving you unprecedented access to the cutting-edge technology of tomorrow’s wars, such as drones and space-based weapons of mass destruction.

  • Go to war online in a persistent multiplayer World War III with fully-customizable battalions and units
  • Refined HUD and controls and new waypoint system, combined with EndWar’s proven revolutionary voice command system
  • 30 stunningly realistic real-world battlefields set in Europe and the United States, including Washington D.C., Paris, and Moscow
  • Deeply customizable armies featuring unit ranks and hundreds of upgrades add up to endless replay value.
  • Includes all the downloadable content released on consoles – maps, additional upgrades and battalions.
  • Watch the destruction unfold in spectacular detail in massive battles featuring hundreds of units and destructible environments.

Great game. Definitely is worth far more than its new counter-part "Endwar Online".
Though voice commands work 85% of the time, it does not diminish the experience, and even though mutliplayer went offline a while ago, it is still worth picking.

Tom Clancys Endwar is a Great RTS and Strategy Game

It provides hours of fun and entertainment for a low cost as well. Something else i really liked is the story on this game was alot better than i remember. Now it is not a ground breaking story and is not really rememberable i just enjoyed the short cutscenes after every battle that detailed the battle around the globe.

Pros
Good graphics
Each unit is unique and is needed for the overall success
Voice command is a charm
Low price
Detailed Units
Each army has unique units

Cons
Matches can become predicatable so play on higher diffuculty
Not a lenghty story about 8 hours but not bad
Only 3 armies

If you want a fun RTS that is not too expensive get this.

One of the most underrated RTS Games it is almost sad to see this game be neglected by the community. Voice controls were revolutionary for its time, works better than a Kinect (Originally played it on the 360). The story mode is pretty decent if you want to follow it, and if you want to really focus on it you can always buy the novel cheaper than this as an E-book (Sidenote: I always loved how Tom would just give Ubisoft an idea and they finished a game before he even wrote the damn novel. Ubisoft just loves putting his name on any military game they have).

The combat system is pretty easy to get the hang of, and I recommened to RTS players who looking for a straight up battle rather than worrying about politics and gathering resources like other games. Although those mechanics are really great, sometimes you just want to have a one track mind when playing games sometimes!

Replayability is high, the combat system is great, the graphics are decent given the budget they had, and very sad to not see this series progress other than a flash game. Overall fantastic game for RTS fans

Endwar is an AMAZING game. It's got good gameplay, combined with good strategy. Also it's got an awesome feature. In Endwar you can control your units by talking. It's got voice-commanding, which i find awesome to use when i'm playing campaign. For exampel, i can say: "Unit 3 attack hostile 7", and unit 1 would move to engage hostile 7.

It's good strategy is amazing. Once i were up against 5 russian tank squads, i had 1 european tank squad, a gunship squad and an artillery squad. They had to move over a bridge to get to uplink Lima, so it got really dense at that bridge. By using my artillery, and gunships effectively, i destroyed all 5 russian tank squads. In Endwar, strength doesn't always come in numbers.

Pros:
Amazing strategy usage.
Voice-commanding (I absolutely LOVE it! Makes me feel like a real commander xD)
Good balanced gameplay

Cons:
Multiplayer is dead, so if you're buying it in 2015 and up, you can only play singleplayer
The Theater of War online scenario ended in 2009, and no new ones have been hosted.
In skirmish, the 3 factions roughly have the same units, with minor differences.

My Rating:
4 Out Of 5 Stars

One of my all time favorite strategy games. Unit detail is stunning and the ability to upgrade units as they gain ranks is great too.
