Assaulted Just a reminder, come World In Conflict during the Cold War, in which, instead of devotion, a Russian army of the United States on civilian freighter surprised and set the whole country. This counter-attack by the Russians, America has taken so suddenly, forcing them to retreat several times, until they finally climb together a defense.
This is not a game of gathering resources and long-term fortification, but a game of control points, reinforcements and work with what is given to you.
You need not worry about facilities, tech trees and harvest, but you need to take care of quickly from one place to another and with them as efficiently as possible about getting troops. Most importantly, this is a game about following orders and profit targets.
They do not care about the destruction of the enemy base or maintain tactical dominance of the wider map. You have to do jobs, and you'd better ♥♥♥♥ing do it.
Single player campaigns are broken up into seven or more primary objectives, with optional secondary objectives cropping up as you move through them.
Taking, fortifying and holding strategic command points is the meat of the game, but the circumstances of each objective vary enough that the task never feels repetitive.
While a campaign may take an hour or more, it'll be broken down into smaller engagements where simply crossing a river or destroying one building requires careful planning.
Everything about multiplayer was designed to help you quickly in a game and keep you there for hours.
Which is rapidly balanced and wonderful. Set the first-person multiplayer action game Battlefield 2 reborn as a real-time strategy game, and you have an idea of how World in Conflict unfolds online. This is an insanely fun multiplayer game that lets you be in a team of eight, as you try to destroy the enemy with teamwork and tactical weapon in any book can.
Action packed, adrenalised and undeniably spectacular. This game is unlike most real-time war-games for its tactical nature and reliance on teamwork. Because of this, the multiplayer is a great multiplayer experience.
Score: 87 / 100
