Early Access Review
For players who want to get all the core features and cut out the grinding, AirMech Prime offers all feature unlocks, all mechs, and enough kudos to clear out the entire Shop (and have plenty left over for new releases). You won't get much for diamonds or cosmetics, just the things that affect gameplay.

If you don't like the free2play model, this is the purchase for you.

Airmech Prime takes out all the grinding and gives you most of the units for the game. And gives all the core AirMech classes and the exclusive Ultimate Striker. I recommend Prime as you first purchase for AirMech if you don't like the F2P model. If however you want more diamonds for cosmetics than prime is not the purchase for you as the StarterPack has more diamonds.

Airmech is the kind of game that combines classic moba's and strategy games. The moba part is easy enough, its a top down view with a hero character(airmech) and you have to help your creep along to the enemy base. The difference that airmech offers compared to other moba's is that the creep itself can be the tool for winning having your airmech barely part of a fight depending on your play style.

Before any games you have the choices of outfitting both your airmech and your army. Modifying your airmech can give you -/+ effects to your airmech stats (without really changing the cosmetics) and you can choose which units or even small buildings that you can spawn. Using your airmech as a deployment unit you can fast travel creep across the battlefield giving airmech a new feeling to moba's.

An easy game to try out the previous reviewers have commented on buying the prime access bundle to unlock all units and airmech without all the grind. I'd like to point out that the prime bundle does not give you those anymore. Instead it offers you a large amount of kudos(in game money) and crystals (Real life money) so as to give you a boost to unlock some troops. Some though will be level restricted and will still require you to level your account by doing battles.

Airmech is a strictly combat matches game. Two years ago the publishers declared that they're would be a campaign openned to prime content users. The closest to campaign that they have managed so far is the lore entries on their pilots while no news for said campaign has ever sprouted up. It was somewhat a disappointment since the setting of the game offered a possible good story.

All in all the game is "good" I'd only recommend this game to people who have nothing else to do or simply feel tired of playing all those copy paste moba's out there. (sorry if that offends someone out there) Its a good game to play with friends from time to time as a way to kill the boredom between bigger games.
