New Zombie Mode

The Tiny Troopers zombie mode includes:

  • Face endless waves of brain-munching zombies, including undead chickens!
  • Utilise air dropped crates of special weapons to lay devastation on the zombie hordes!
  • Use all your favorite Special Forces troopers to take down the undead.
  • Survive as long as you can against unending waves of normal and special zombies!

About This Game

Tiny Troopers puts you in command of a team of small soldiers. Guide them through 30 deadly missions with varied objectives: destroy enemy armoured formations, save hostages and eliminate enemy generals, to name but just a few.

Your troopers will face enemy infantry, snipers, technicals and even tanks. The casualty rate is going to be high but there’s an endless supply of fresh recruits to step up and fill the ranks. Those lucky troopers who survive from mission to mission will be promoted, and each new stripe they gain makes them tougher.

To increase your troopers’ chances of survival, use Command Points to give them better equipment, reinforce their team with a specialist like machine gunner, medic or delta force and call in support drops during missions. War might be hell but this is the funniest way to fight in one!

Features

  • The safe way to fight in a war: you won't end up in a body bag.
  • Lead your troopers in 30 deadly missions with varied objectives.
  • Face enemies from infantry to snipers and tanks.
  • Reinforce your squad with specialists like machinegunner, medic and delta force.
  • Keep your troopers alive: they get better after each new rank they gain.
Give War a Chance!

I am currently trying to get thru my backlog of games, which means I have around 2 thousand to play. Chose this game (thanks Josh) installed it, and felt like it was going to be another one of those budget pieces of crap.

I could not have been further off base with that assumption.

You begin each mission with a brief overview of your objectives. You get to see your squad, and how many people you will be bringing along for the mission. You can buy single mission upgrades, as well as training that lasts from mission to mission. Once you have selected your squad loadout, and upgrades, you begin.

Cute, colorful graphics work well, along with some nice explosion effects. Purposely cartoony sound effects and voice acting fit the theme. Varied mission objectives keep it interesting. Default controls are completely mouse driven, and are terrible. Switch over to WSAD movement and mouse controlled firing, and it controls perfectly.

$5 for this hidden gem. Wait for it to be on sale if you must, but Id pick it up at full price. Awesome.

Full metal jacket meets Loonie Tunes. A whole lot of fun, reminiscent of the old Cannon Fodder games. Overall it looked GREAT but the controls, since this was ported over from a touch interface, were a bit lacking. After the publisher read so many comments about this short-coming they added the ability to use keyboard / mouse for controlling your characters. I would have preferred Twin-Stick controls but I'll take what I can get here. :)

After the update I have been loving this game greatly. Game loads quick, gameplay itself is quick to pick up, and the graphics are, cartoony but, fantastic.

If you enjoy leading some characters around shooting and blasting things you'll have a great time with this title. Also, since everyone must join the bandwagon (and I, for one, love them for it), this game also includes a zombie survival mode. Maps are a bit small for my tastes and it gets a bit hectic sometimes leading your "snake" of men through the environment and zombies, but overall a ton of fun.

In summation, buy this game (on sale or full price) today and support a developer providing great games, and, who listens to their player-base.

Tiny Troopers - A simple, cute and challenging little war game which is very similar to Cannon Fodder in terms of mechanics and gameplay, but has a health-bar system to make things a little bit less punishing, so if you like that series of games, you will likely enjoy this game too, I definitely did!

Tiny Troopers is a top-down shooter which was originally developed for iOS, earlier versions of the Steam edition left lots of evidence that this was a quick port, but patches and updates have really improved this game to benefit PC players such as making a new and better control system (WASD Movement with Mouse Aiming), fixing some smaller errors such as grammar/typos and re-adding the Zombie game mode (accompanied with achievements as a bonus). So, if you were thrown off from buying this game because of older reviews that were posted before the changes were made (such as TotalBuiscuit's review), please consider trying the current version on sale, it is freshly polished and has been vastly improved.

Tiny Troopers is a lot of fun, the Command Point system along with the Ranking and Leveling add a nice touch to make the game feel a bit more progressive. Individual trooper levelling makes a return and works essentially the same way as it does in the original Cannon Fodder games, each mission a particular trooper survives and completes will provide them with a new rank making them tougher, stronger and improve his weapon capabilities.
There are a total of 30 missions in the campaign, 10 missions per chapter. Once these are complete, there is a Campaign+ option to try and challenge yourself further giving this game some replay value, the Zombie mode is a nice touch too to give yourself something more to do.

There isn't much else to say here. The game is really enjoyable, while not exactly groundbreaking, and is a great game to play if you're looking to get into something quick and fun for a low price. It takes no time at all to get yourself clued up on how to play as the tutorial takes no longer than a minuteto complete because of the simple controls, meaning you can jump right into the action almost instantly. Also just for the record, this game is superior to Cannon Fodder 3.

For £3.99, I defeinitely recommend this game. When it is on sale, I can't recommend this game enough.

This is a fun little game about a rag-tag pair of soldiers that, through a series of missions, rise through the ranks and have more and more specialists available to their squad.
The gameplay itself is fun, and is diverse enough so that you won't bore too quickly. Though some of the missions seem to drag on, running from place to place, the majority of them are quite easy to do and countinue on.
Nice game, consider this if you have a spare dollar or two.

Campaign:
* always buy the map
* attack from the South for better vision

Zombies:
* kill zombie chickens and kamikaze first
* you can leave 1 slow zombie alive to collect the weapon crates and heals before the next wave

That's a piece of humble advice I can give you.
I hope that'll help. :P

This game is not for everyone.....Its cute and fun but lacking at some parts. The camera will goes with your character at the center and you could not scroll to view the maps. The explosions, guns firing and others sound effects were greats.Even dying soldiers still request assist for helps.Your soldiers will be given rank after finishing some missions and become stronger(the firing rates and damages),they also haves names so you would somehow like some of you soldiers and would want them to stay alive every mission but they do die a lots and been replaces by new ones.If you want something cute and casual but there would be blood, this is right games for you.Its quite funs when you goes trough it....Do enjoy firing the guns and missiles a lot.

This game may seem simple at first glance, and i would be lying if i said you were wrong. But the simplicity of this game is overwelmed by the features presented. this game doesnt have a huge campaign, but its hard and can take you a long time. The game is a beautiful shooter, the controls are great and the sounds the little army men make couldnt be better! i whole-heartedly reccomend thiis game.

For its price tag this little game is great, it's just like cannon fodder except more zoomed in and animated. The only downside to the game is that if you have 3 or more guys in your squad on hard difficulty, the trailing guy tends to die in the mission because of the "snake" movement of your team. Still awesome little game, great for "in betweeners" like when I'm at work and just need a 15 minute timeout from coding.

Full metal jacket meets Loonie Tunes. A whole lot of fun, reminiscent of the old Cannon Fodder games. For the bit of money it costs, a great deal. I see it referred to as a top down perspective, but it's more of a 3/4 isometric view, which is much better, in my opinion.

Tiny Troopers is a casual third person shooter. You control one or more trooper with the help of additional specially skilled troopers (i.e. medic, machine gunner, special ops, etc...) and the help of extra weapons such as grenades, rockets and air strikes. The graphics are cartoony and really well done as they lend themselves well to the atmosphere of the game. The sounds are really good with nice background noises, a nice touch. There are 30 missions, obviously each getting tougher and three different difficulty levels. Once you beat the game, you get the new "plus" edition which intensifies the game even more. On the higher difficulties, this game surpasses the casual and becomes an intense action game. The storyline is forgetable at best, but it's the fun action that makes this game fun to play.

Also, a zombie mode was added later on for those that enjoy a good survival gamemode. Definitely a game that I'd recommend playing, this was a fun one to play through.

ASWD to move, left click shoot, right click alt fire, 1-2-3 for special weapons options, call in support for dollars, it's very very basic even for a touch-pad port.

As it's been said, the "campaign" is nothing more than disjointed, generic missions played sequentially. Missions on maximum difficulty can be completed effortlessly the first time you see them, provided everyone but your main unit means nothing to you. I'm guessing that the "challenge" is that you can only control the head of your squad and all other members move like a snake behind him. Therefore, when you are trying to avoid fire, you have to do so in a way that does not allow the other members of your party to get hit when they arrive at your location two or three seconds later. Basically, it's inevitable that your main unit will be grossly overpowered and everyone else will be new and inexperienced.

Really, I would sum this game up by saying it's just not very good and be done with it. However, it's struck me right from the main menu that this is intended to be something like 3D, isometric Call of Duty for eight year olds. I don't really mean that in a condescending way, and this isn't really a game that I'd give and eight year old to play unless I was trying to explain military strategy of the Iraq war (run in with thousands of troops, shoot up locals, watch your troops die, and accomplish nothing yet make a lot of money). But really, the maturity level conveyed and depth from the game definitely makes me think ages 8 - 10 and lord knows I can think of better options than this for somebody's childhood.

Nice and fun. It reminds me of an old game I used to play on Amiga.

So far game is bug free, gives good fun and is quick, while at the same time provides some challange.

Graphics are simple and well done, so don't expect anything fancy.

Very much like the old Cannon Fodder game for the Sega Mega Drive or Super Nintendo, but much better grapics.

The core gameplay si stil there, clicking around the map to send you platoon there while point out what they should fire at.

Very entertaining, but can become hard on later levels. Keep in mind you can replay missions to gain more XP and level up your current platoon withotu fear of them dying.

Fun. takes me back to playing commando. Nice little time waster. The currency bugs me a little, but it hasn't gotten in the way of me playing so I should be forgiving. Good game to jump in and out of on a lunch break.
