Frame-rate Challenge Mode:
Sometimes the internet leaks into games, and even Zeno Clash 2 can’t escape. In this unique challenge, surreal wireframe enemies begin spawning with increasing frequency. The enemies still require skill to beat, but the waves are only limited by one thing: the PC’s performance. Eking every last ounce of computational horsepower will be the key to surviving as long as possible in this highly unusual challenge.

Coliseum Challenge Mode:
This wave-based attack mode will push players to the limit. 50 waves of enemies will spawn, with increasing difficulty. True mastery of Zeno Clash 2’s first-person combat system of deadly combos will lead brawlers to victory, but there is some respite between rounds as players will have access to the store to buy weapons, power-ups, even allies. Unlike the game, there’s no restriction on the number of allies either, so get ready for the most intense, all-out, battle royale in all of Zenozoik.

Special Edition

The Special Edition for Zeno Clash 2 includes:

  • ‘The Art of ‘Zenozoik’ digital artbook
  • Zeno Clash 2 Original Soundtrack

About This Game

Ghat's story is far from over: Zeno Clash 2 picks up where the deliciously brazen first game left off. After 4 years of waiting, the sequel to the surreal first-person brawler brings more variety in combat and levels, and even more bizarre storytelling into the beguiling world of Zenozoik. Join forces with your former foe Rimat and battle against scores of angry denizens, preventing their dastardly machinations from being realized.

Zeno Clash 2 welcomes new players to the Zeno Clash universe with a new game that will bring them into the universe and fill them in on the backstory. Returning players will delight in the connections between the new settings and the first adventure. All players will thoroughly enjoy playing a first-person brawler that provides a rarity in modern gaming: a truly unique experience.

Zeno Clash 2 has beefed up its combat engine with precision punch targeting, blocking, and high-impact hits that only make the bone-crunching, face-rattling fistcuffs more satisfying. The new "Lock-on" function gives players a wider range of control for dishing out the damage. New RPG mechanics will allow Ghat and Rimat to punch harder, defend better, and recruit more powerful allies to aid in their quest. Zeno Clash 2 now harnesses the full power of the Unreal III engine to bring the bizarre and beautiful world of Zenozoik to life. ACE Team's boundless imagination brings gamers into a universe of surreal foes, fantastic locations, and truly unique visuals that is unlike anything else you will ever play. Having found the original Zeno Clash to be rather one-dimensional and repetitive, I went into the sequel with low expectations. Thankfully, it turned out to be a great experience.

The addition of clever puzzles, attributes, collectables, interesting weapons and a variety of enemies (including some very imaginative bosses) is a vast improvement. It has some great moments, both scripted and unscripted - beating a tough enemy by knocking him off a cliff with a couple of well-placed punches was my favourite.

Add in the gorgeous graphics, great music and off-the-wall writing, and it's definitely got my recommendation.

I didn't play the first part of Zeno Clash, so I was confused firstly. But then story took me. Easy puzzles, entertaining brawls, picturesque scenery, great sound. By the way, about the sound, my favourite enemies are marauders, their faces covered with bag like masks, so they sounded like they shout into a pillow. Actually great effect, so energetic, so exprressive. Sometimes I just load game to fight them and to listen to them.
Minuses: pretty linear, there is almost no choice. Also, some puzzles are just "do the same several times" mixed with brawls. From the middle of the game you get some instruments to interact with environment, and you'll be confused whether you're able to interact with it or not.
So, it's a good game. I had no intensions to play it actually, I don't rememer where I got it. However, I played it to the end!

It takes the best of the original game (which is otherworldly design) and fixes what was poorly made and irritating. So combats got better, more balanced, some plausible amount of exploration was added, old locations were polished and got new details. Plot continues about where it left in the end of the first one.

So if you like whimsically designed surroundings, creatures and characters with weird stories and fitting background music, play this one. But be ready to punch some faces and kick some ♥♥♥, as it is a fighting game. And bring a friend to help you cope with everything physically and mentally.

Pretty good, thanks to the co-op feature.

But it lacks a certain aspect, I'm not sure what exactly, but it's a bit dull.
