Frame-rate Challenge Mode:
Sometimes the internet leaks into games, and even Zeno Clash 2 can’t escape. In this unique challenge, surreal wireframe enemies begin spawning with increasing frequency. The enemies still require skill to beat, but the waves are only limited by one thing: the PC’s performance. Eking every last ounce of computational horsepower will be the key to surviving as long as possible in this highly unusual challenge.

Coliseum Challenge Mode:
This wave-based attack mode will push players to the limit. 50 waves of enemies will spawn, with increasing difficulty. True mastery of Zeno Clash 2’s first-person combat system of deadly combos will lead brawlers to victory, but there is some respite between rounds as players will have access to the store to buy weapons, power-ups, even allies. Unlike the game, there’s no restriction on the number of allies either, so get ready for the most intense, all-out, battle royale in all of Zenozoik.

Special Edition

The Special Edition for Zeno Clash 2 includes:

  • ‘The Art of ‘Zenozoik’ digital artbook
  • Zeno Clash 2 Original Soundtrack

About This Game

Ghat's story is far from over: Zeno Clash 2 picks up where the deliciously brazen first game left off. After 4 years of waiting, the sequel to the surreal first-person brawler brings more variety in combat and levels, and even more bizarre storytelling into the beguiling world of Zenozoik. Join forces with your former foe Rimat and battle against scores of angry denizens, preventing their dastardly machinations from being realized.

Zeno Clash 2 welcomes new players to the Zeno Clash universe with a new game that will bring them into the universe and fill them in on the backstory. Returning players will delight in the connections between the new settings and the first adventure. All players will thoroughly enjoy playing a first-person brawler that provides a rarity in modern gaming: a truly unique experience.

Zeno Clash 2 has beefed up its combat engine with precision punch targeting, blocking, and high-impact hits that only make the bone-crunching, face-rattling fistcuffs more satisfying. The new "Lock-on" function gives players a wider range of control for dishing out the damage. New RPG mechanics will allow Ghat and Rimat to punch harder, defend better, and recruit more powerful allies to aid in their quest. Zeno Clash 2 now harnesses the full power of the Unreal III engine to bring the bizarre and beautiful world of Zenozoik to life. ACE Team's boundless imagination brings gamers into a universe of surreal foes, fantastic locations, and truly unique visuals that is unlike anything else you will ever play. With the newly added drop-in/drop-out co-op play, Zeno Clash 2 invites you AND a friend to dive once more into the fray!

Zeno Clash 2 is way too underrated... It's so much better than the original game, yet almost the same... feels like developers made a game that first Zeno Clash was meant to be.

Best attribute of this game: it's entertaining! That's a win for me. Most modern AAA games are not as entertaining as this game.
Zeno Clash 2 features:

+Interesting world / story.
+Gameplay / combat is challenging and well balanced.
+Game visuals / characters / levels are gorgeous (Seriously, I took 100+ screenshots while playing it).
+Immersive, beautiful soundtrack.
+I really like voice acting in this game.
+Skill points granted for exploring and not for killing stuff.
+You don't have to take part in every random encounter / fight your way through a level you've already visited... or you can, if you really like to punch faces :D

All this makes you want to come back to the world of Zenozoik and explore it. Of course, some things could be done better:

-Most cutscenes are a bit lifeless (despite good voice acting).
-The biggest and potentially most difficult encounter during the story can be easily avoided by running to the level transition.

So yeah, I highly recommend this game, it's really charming and brings out unique experience!

Personal Rating: 8/10. A polished sequel.

Zeno Clash 2 puts you back into the role of Ghat, son of Father-Mother. This game is actually much longer than the first one, and expands on all of the character's stories. The combat is highly improved, and I believe this game is on unreal 3 instead of source for a change. The graphics are great, and the gameplay is polished.

It has been a while since I have played the First Zeno Clash and I didn’t remember much from it when I started playing the sequel. From the first few minutes in I knew it will not be disappointing.

The story was amazing and the world was simply breathtaking, I have found myself playing for hours, completely detached from the reality. The best way to describe the experience would be to say: I was dreaming, a dream so unique and intriguing that I was starting to doubt my own sanity.

The gameplay is challenging and controls are complex. To elaborate further: I have never had a chance to execute any of the advanced combinations in any fight, simply because almost always survival came first. Trying to recall and execute a six step combo is simply impossible when you are being attacked by multiple opponents.

There aren’t many games like this one out there. Give it a try!

Ok this is going to be a short review because If you have played the first one (what you should do) then you know what to get from this however there is couple of things that are new, firstly that it's open world what's a good thing as it allows the player to see and explore world that ACE Team has builded. Another thing that I liked is that it's coop what allows your friends to join in and explore plus kick some ♥♥♥ with you, boss battles are better then the first game and the soundtrack like the last game is amazing. Now for some reason there was alot of bad and mediocre reviews for this game but to be honest game doesn't deserve low scores, to me this game surpass the last one as the soundtrack is alot more memorable, the locations as well and the story was alot more better as well. If you were a fan of the first one or you are interested then buy this game and don't listen to the mediocre reviews (bad reviews as well) because most reviewers haven't played the first one plus don't like beat them ups.

This game gets a 9/10 from me.

All of the promising things about Zeno Clash seem to have unfortunately, not been fufilled despite this sequel. The world is still underdeveloped, the story still a mess, and the combat seems to have had a downgrade in responsiveness and tension. Zeno Clash 2 tried to reach for more with the series but appears to have been released too early. I love Ace Team and I really hope the best for them, but I feel Zeno Clash 2 is an example of what the studio's limitations are.

The idea behind the game isn't that bad, but in my opinion the mechanics the game is using are in need of improvement. You get thrown in the world and don't know anything about the story and there is no explanation which clears your mind, the quests you have are unintelligible and the areas are a kind of confusing... But the artstyle is cool and the gameplay amusingly diffrent.

I would'nt recommend it at all.

I have not played much but to be honest i hate it. i would rather wipe my bum with sand paper than play this dread again. My friend bought this for me but i would not buy it if i were you please dont waste your money on this. there are plenty of better indie games out there much cheaper than this rubbish. If i had to rate it ill be generous and say 0/10.

most ALT-TAB unfriendly game in history.

Aside from that, great melee game, really enjoying it thus far and this comes from a die-hard FPS fan.

Truly something beautiful, bizarre, and wonderful to behold; the Zenoclash games are a real beat-em-up delight. Its rare to see a third-person brawler this engaging. The world is so surreal and dreamlike that its easy to get lost in the details. Its a little difficult to get started control-wise, but after a little practice, it is easily second-nature. I highly reccomend this for anyone wanting to experience a real adventure while experiencing something new and definately odd.

This is the Zeno Clash game, better than the first part, probably this is the game than the developer wanted to deliver. The brawls mechanics are polished, the problem from the first game disappeared and new options are added to the system. The weapons are improved as well. The history is indeed, deep and fortunately, almost completed (as probably there will be a third part some holes remain). The duration of the game is still a little short, 8- 12 hours for the campaign. There are now certain RPG elements as you can improve some stats, still are not mandatory and you character has good chance to finish the game without them. You can max one or two of the attributes per game (or maybe more if you truly explore each region of the world). The graphics… something happened and the bizarre and beautiful world is lost at certain degree, probably due the unreal engine (but is a good trade off, if lets the developers to focus in everything else).

This game has one of the most interesting punk-fantasy art style, and unusual but constantly fascinating writing. The plot is interesting, the world it takes place in is so fantastically crafted, and the design choices always catch you off guard and leave you pleasantly surprised. Of course, you should play Zeno Clash 1 first, as this is a direct sequel with the same characters. The controls are a little bit clumsy sometimes, and the fighting gameplay is much more complicated than in the first game, but it all has a refreshing charm to it. The graphics are fantastic, although perhaps too much so - I had to turn down my resolution by a lot before it started to work without any lag. Definitely worth your money.

A worthy sequel to the first game. Combat has been revamped, but is still familiar enough to make sense to players of the previous game. The aesthetic of the game remains strange, beautiful and unique, although I don't know that I favor the open-world feel of this game to the linear feel of the first (which seemed to work better for the subject matter). The ending, although satisfying, has left me hoping that the series becomes a trilogy.

I can't exactly tell you why, but this game has its charm, unique preset, well ballanced mechanics and a story which is despite being cliche is delivered in a very good pace!
