About the Game

The world is at an end, and you have 30 seconds to save it!

(30… 29… 28…) Start your quest, meet people that need help, fight through dark dungeons, earn money, upgrade your gear and level up, level up, level up until you triumph over evil and take down the final boss!

(30… 29… 28…) The critically acclaimed Hypersonic RPG action game makes its debut on PC, leveled-up and enhanced to be the ultimate version. The most complete Half Minute Hero yet, it contains all the content and the features (21… 20… 19…) from the previous versions on handheld and console platforms, such as “Hero 300” - the challenging 300 second final chapter, (11… 10… 9…) as well as the exciting Knight 30, Hero 30, and Evil Lord 30 bonus game modes, restored to their full glory...

(30… 29… 28…) Let’s try that again – Over 60 RPGs in one game, each with its own leaderboard for you to compete with your friends and full Steamworks integration. 8-bit retro graphics are available for when you are feeling nostalgic. A game in 8-bits that doesn't feel like a ♥♥♥♥ty retro game. Everything on the game goes faster than lighting (no pun intended), and there are a lot of references. A lot of stages to play, 4 long stories to complete, one hell of a final battle, and a little Challenge mode if you have the balls, all with great music, and non-8bit mode for people that don't like them.

It's at 1,74€ right now. And I can tell you, it's worth more.

It'll make you laugh. It'll make you cry. It'll make you spill juice on your good pants.

Half-Minute Hero plays like a normal RPG on speed: Each map has you grind, get new gear, and fight a big bad boss, with each RPG taking about only 3 to 5 minutes. There are plenty of different maps with branching paths and titles to challenge to go through maps different ways.

Unlike the 360 version, it comes with Evil Lord 30, which is a top-down beat'em'up where you summon monsters to beat up people, Princess 30 where you play a shoot'em'up under a very strict 30 second royal curfew, and Knight 30 where you protect your sage for 30 seconds against monsters. All of these is more than reason enough to pick up this game if you are even remotely interested by the premise.

Half Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax Ultimate Boy is a cool hypersonic RPG action game with several time attack modes and a good storyline (even though it may appear quite repetitive).

The retro-like graphics and midi music makes me wanna grab back my old video game consoles.

On a side note, the multiplayer mode should probably add extra features (like more than 2 players, new maps and other game variations).

Short and intense with achievements! (badges would be more than welcome).

This easily could be my favorite PSP game of all time next to Dissidia or Crisis Core. This port is pretty bad, so bring a game controller and play on the old graphics.
