Eets munchies is a 2D puzzle game for Windows by Klei.

Menu:
I am not afraid to say this is clearly intended for mobile devices. The menu is non existant the only thing i can tell you is that you can turn game music or audio on or off. The game starts windowed and there is no option to fullscreen. You can use Alt+Enter to make it fullscreen regardless and it will nicely scale without changing your resolution. Now in fullscreen the problem is that you can't reach your Windows volume control anymore so you should preset this.

Controls:
You control the game with your mouse. No controller support though that doesn't really fit here anyway. There are moments where you control devices with your keyboard however those are not rebindable.

Ingame:
Ofcourse this is what you really need to look at incase of mobile games. You are presented with colourful worlds in which you need to guide your character Eets through cases of emotional distress and to the cake. Reaching the cake can be easy or very challenging. Remembering that there are physics involved for example shooting Eets off a platform with a cannon. There are a good set of items available to help you progress for example Chili's that make Eets angry and jump higher, Bounce flowers to launch Eets in a set direction or bombs to blow away walls.

Did you beat all the levels? Try some of the user made levels or create your own with the steam workshop or puzzle creator.

Conclusion:
If you have some spare change and you like cute 2D puzzle games then this is a good one.

This game is great. Its not too long where you just get sick of it, so it is enjoyable to play all the way through. Also the puzzles are pretty challenging, which makes for some brain teasers and fun to play with another person to figure them out. The only time the game really started to ♥♥♥♥ me off was during the mystery challenges when timing and acuraccy are all of a sudden extremely important. other than that placement and timing of the puzzles is not too big of an issue. Also what kinda had me sold on this game was the art style definelty makes it very inviting and almost appear as a kid game but is still very challenging for everyone. Really enjoyed the creativeness of the different items, and am glad there are so many items to keep the game interesting all the way through. Also the devs did great at coming up with the puzzles some of them are a tad baffeling in my opinion of how they play through. All in all a solid game, worth the price, and fun for all.

Challenging puzzles, fun gameplay, and cute characters each with different mechanics bringing a complex twist to a simple game. Totally fun. 100% Complete.

Too fiddly and imprecise. Somehow it failed to provide those eureka moments that motivate me to play puzzle games.

Eets is cute as a button so its a shame this is a poop game. It is impossible to recommend this for 7 bucks because its an overpriced app at that point. its weird locked resolution and gameplay design (using the 3 stars per level system) just reinforce that. The levels range from easy (place the items and press go) to pull-out-your-hair hard, but not in the "Oh, it just requires some advanced logic" way, but in the "Oh, I have to put these in the correct spot DOWN TO THE PIXEL, so I spend time trying to get it correct over and over, despite knowing how to complete the level" and it just feels unfair sometimes. To the games credit the latter assorment of levels are few in number. But...then again...there aren't a lot of levels to begin with. Eh. Only played this past the 2nd world or so for the easy 100% game.

Guide your little dude to the cake by placing items on the playing field, then hit "Go" and interact with some of the items while the critter is moving along, to help it on its way.
It's quite polished but is definitely designed for touch screens and has the whole mobile gaming thing going too.
Not a bad game at all, but didn't hold my interest for more than a couple of minutes.

Eets Munchies is an adorable animated puzzle game starring yours truly Eets who is a furry white rabbit comined with a pirahna or flea(whichever you prefer), It's a great & simple-to-pick up play game with basic controls. It is actually a pretty greeat game to play despite the way it looks and sounds.

~Gameplay~
The game revolves around placing a series items(structures) & powerups/Debuffs while triggering different mechanisms to help Eets get to his prized destination which is the cake obviously if you didnt know ;D.

~Visual/Graphics~
Eets to be rather graphically charming for all friendly ages even for those who don't like gore. The different types of machinations and creatues he uses to help him on his way are lively and animated, Each individual world is visually different,
But the game kind of shoots for the 2d world perspective with a tom and jerry type of feel.

~SoundTrack~
The tracks in Eets Munchies are rather upbeat and whimsical, although after making it few the first world or two they start to become repetitive.

~Conclusion~
Overall, Eets Munchies is a rather enjoyable yet simple experience for the casual puzzle gamer. It's fun and charming, and has a learning curve suitable for just about everyone. I have to say that I wasn't planning on liking the game at all when I first started playing, but it ended up winning me over within the first few levels, and I found myself wanting every workshop collectible to make my first legit map. Definently worth to play if you have spare but not on long periods of time.

OVERALL: 75%

Gameplay: 5/5
Graphics : 4/5
Music: 3/5

Eets Munchies is a mobile bog standard earn-3-stars-on-every-level platformer blatantly designed for touchscreen. It's cute, and my young cousins love playing it with me, but I would never play it as a form of personal entertainment.

I wouldn't buy games for my smartphone, and this game is no exception.

Think cut the rope but for a non touchscreen device. Pretty fun puzzler and you can easily complete it in a few hours. The Mystery stages are very hard though.

Incredibly charming and fun puzzle game from the devs behind Shank and Mark of the Ninja. Think of it as a mix between Lemmings and Mario vs DK (if you've played those on DS/3DS). While it is relatively short (even if you're not so amazing at puzzle games, the game offers a useful hint system that will help you piece your way through levels), unless you download a lot of workshop levels, it's well worth the 2-4 hours you'll spend with it.

Eh, got it in a humble bundle a while ago, glad I didn't pay full price. It's basically an iPhone game for PC, so definately not worth the $7 price tag. Not bad if you can pick it up for free somewhere or get it as a gift, but don't expect to spend more than 2-3 hours on it tops.

A fun little puzzle game.

I'm not sure in which bundle i got it, but I was looking for something to pass the time for a few hours, and Eets Munchies delivered.

I especially like the fact that you can either try to simply go to the end goal or try to get all the treats before reaching the goal. That way, people who aren't too much into puzzle games (like myself) will not get stuck too long on a puzzle, while people looking for a challenge will try to get all the treats.

I don't normally write reviews but when I encounter three serious design flaws in the first thirty seconds of gameplay, I have to say something. The click-and-drag is so misaligned on the first object you touch that you will think it must have to do with the fact that you can't change the screen resolution. So, you'll try to quit... try... there isn't a quit button.

Seriously, it's as if the creators have never seen a PC game before and don't know what a patch is. It's unfortuante because Eets: Munchies looks like it might be fun but c'mon, at least try to release a tested product.

If you got the game in a bundle, farm the cards and pitch it on the scrap heap.
