the first game ive ever played where farting on a dead nazi zombie fetus is not only acceptable, but encouraged with an acheivement. not only that, but you can do this very act while playing as the jew class! take that nazi zombie hitler, payback! 10/10 would feel uncomfortably satisfied again.

Great storytelling often involves foreshadowing. You are immediately knighted and dubbed "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" by Cartman. As you go through the game you will smack children up to gain their respect and 'friend add', beat neighbors mailboxes and parking meters to earn money, never answer anyone's questions, fart in people's faces, only befriend people only to gain skills, help sneakily push dangerous narcotics around, move to a town and completely screw it up in roughly three days or so. Finally after everything is said and done, you will say, "Screw you guys, I'm going home." So by the end of the great tale, all you can think is, "Yeah, the main character was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Wait a minute...that was foreshadowing the whole time?"

When it comes to video games based off of movies and tv-shows, there has been plenty. The countless Spider-Man movie games all the way down to The Simpsons Hit n' Run, has all been a fun goof off for an hour or two before you get bored with it due to the lack of actual substance. Now, when I tell you that South Park: The Stick of Truth is the GOD of all movie/tv-games, I need you to understand my full meaning.

South Park: The Stick of Truth drops you in the middle of an actual episode of South Park. You are right there, and part of the quiet little mountain town for several hours of gameplay that is simple in its ways, but great all the same. Fight alongside the boys as their innocent games turn into yet another nation-wide catastrophy, and revisit memories from all the past seasons.

The turnbased combat is, again, extremly simplistic but does the trick as all fights has a decent flow to them and makes room for tons of comedy.

The graphics are no more or less than what South Park has always been. Truth be told, the fact that the developers chose to keep the simple visuals from the series only makes it more true to its original.

The RPG-part is little more than an inventory, loot, and a somewhat sloppy skill tree, but as simple as the rest it, I'd say that it is not something that lowers the over all quality too much.

In the end, The Stick of Truth is a fantastic game. It truly is, IF you are a fan of South Park. If you are not familiar with it, or maybe one of those people that finds South Park distasteful, save your money.

If you, like me, adores South Park. Can you please get this game, RIGHT NOW?! *Cartman voice*

Holy sh|t, what a ride.

Obsidian hit every single mark and checkbox with this one. They hit the nail on its head, the plank on the jump, and the ball outta the park - and into space.

Everything about the game is brilliant and so true to its origins that it's almost scary. More than anything, it feels like watching a marathon of all the best stuff the show has had to offer through the years. It's been a while since I saw any South Park episodes, but this game has convinced me to start watching the show again.

I haven't laughed this hard and loud in what feels like forever - there where moments when I had to pause the game before continuing because my sides were hurting so much. I swear I had tears in my eyes at one point.

Sure, the jokes may be hit and miss if you're not a fan of the show, but then again, why would you even have the game, or be interested in playing it? This is a gift to the fans and for my part, I loved every second of it. It put a big, fat smile on my face and wouldn't let go until my stomach had been churned to oblivion from so many insane pranks and jokes.

I got this gifted, but would have been happy to pay full price for this South Park masterpiece. I see it has already Overwhelmingly Positive recommendations, both recent and old, and I just have to agree - this game is truly a gem and an absolute must if you have the slightest interest in South Park and its bizarre lore and inhabitants. Wholeheartedly recommended to every wizard, ranger, thief, druid, bard - and new kid around.

I am one of these players of this game that haven't whatched the serie so much before playing the game. But I enjoyed the game so much. The characters are so funny and are very precise to how they are in the serie (as far as I've seen.).
The story is a fun and entertaining adventure you enjoy all the way through. Plus the side missions are so fun to do.
I think that you should try the game if you get the chance.

Good RPG mechanics, amazing soundtrack, interesting story and... Well it's South Park. I've been blown away by the amount of references in the game. Obsidian knows how to make good games and knows how to make RPGs. You can't miss this if you're a South Park fan. Also doesn't require UPlay which is good.

This game is almost as raunchy as the tv show and I can't wait until The Fractured But Whole comes out. From anal probes to ManBearPig, this game is for the biggest fans of the tv show.

South Park: The Stick of Truth is a hillarious experience for everyone, even for those who dont watch South Park.
Your character, the new kid in south park, goes around and meets the main characters of the South Park show that we have grown to love. You meet Butters and get thrrown into a hillarious story line.
Wandering around South Park is funn attempting to freind as manny people as you can, but the game is very easy to beat, and unless your atempting to unlock all the achivements or find all the easter eggs in this game, you will find yourself finished with the game a lot faster then what you wanted to.
