I pondered over whether I should get this game or not since it was first released. Shame I didn't get in on this sooner. I let the lack of picking multiple transformers at the beginning of a mission, like the first game allowed you to do, deter me. The ability to pick perks made the game feel more cohesive than I had anticipated and as a result the narrative is better. I enjoyed every ounce of gameplay and this is my favorite Transformers game to date.

I was excited to see that this was on steam because i used to play hours of this on my 360. Turns out the multiplayer doesn't work which is the main reason i bought it. The story mode was fun but it is definitly not worth 50 bucks. Unless its on sale for like 5 bucks there is no reason to buy it.

Complete false advertisement. There is no escalation mode. I see everyone complaining about the servers being shut down for multiplayer, this means you can't even play escalation mode by yourself. The only thing you can play in this game is single player campaign

Where's the quality control steam, and why do you allow your publishers to flat out lie to the public to sell games. The games description falsely lists several features that are not available, people should open a class action lawsuit against you for false advertisement, maybe that will force you to pay attention to the rampant false advertisement.

Good game until the forth level where one area is unplayable.
On the level 4 once you reunite with Jazz one room you must go through usually does not load in. In the rare chance that it does load in, the objectives do not work and you cannot progress through the game.

Bruhs, you should ALL check how many people are playing before buying it and crying about multiplayer. It's not COD. You don't have thousands or whatever people online. Look at reviews everywhere other than steam fools. This game imo is the MOST under-rated game for multiplayer in history. It's quite a shame it never took off like it should have. For me this game will always be in the top 3 games ever played. The campaign is crazy and the pure gameplay is off the chain.

Buy it on sale for a true 10/10 experience.

so hyped to go back to cybertron after playing war for cybertron
turns out multiplayer isn't even working
what a joke,you're paying for the full content but half of it isn't even available
dont buy this, unless you want to follow the story of cybertron but that's all

Worths the price? (at the moment): No, definitely. Buy it on sales or, recommended, wait until Activision repairs or remasters ALL of it. Read the Cons below why.
Time played: 1.000+ hours
Score given: 7 out of 10.

Pros:

. • Multi-platform (available for PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and soon being remastered for next-gens, PS4 and Xbox One)
. • Amazing Campaign with unique story and nice items
. • Escalation mode (survival) is present
. • Multiple Game Modes available in Multiplayer (too bad that only Team Deathmatch is the main mode and the single one played)
. • A lot of possibilities to costumize your Characters In Multiplayer
. • Modern Graphical Engine
. • Good matchmaking (both Regional and Worldwide) that creates a team by players' leaderboard stats and not randomly.
. • Achievements

Neutral:

. • Partial support for Xbox Gamepads.
. • Ported game.
. • No in-game chat.
. • No in-game microphone support. (feature only for its console version)
. • No Steam drops while playing.
. • Doesn't work with on-board GPUs.

Cons:

. • No support / no updates.
. • No anti-cheat system integrated.
. • Instable Online servers. Almost all new comers cannot play Online.
. • Host Migration resulted in a 'kick with a reason' which may take a lot of time, unlike T:WFC where it simply kicks you in Party Lobby. *
. • In-game Friends List bug where you can't see all the friends, and can be solved only if you have less than 100 friends on Steam.
. • Slow response for controls. (for Defraction Barrier and Flak Shield abilities the repsonse time may not be that smooth; same as the transformation time of Destroyer and Titan)
. • No support for other gamepads than Xbox 360/Xbox One. *
. • Not all user configurations available, many of them are missing. *
. • Kids with costumizable mods and hacks in Multiplayer.
. • No Co-op (Cooperative) mode available.
. • Tweaks and Glitches. Also the game can be easily decoded. It is encrypted in a Low level of Security programming language that is Endianness.
. • Still overpriced. Game being as this, must be under 30 bucks in my opinion.

* = it may be solved by modding. Key Remapping/Binding may help users to play with any other gamepad than Xbox ones. Host Migrator can be deleted from the game. And All graphical configurations can be modified from Low to something Higher. This game is set to use a poor set-up and it can be boosted up.

Its a good game, when i had it on console i played it alot, so when i decided to play it on pc and check out the multiplayer i was very disappointed to see that the servers are shut down and the money i spent on the dlc's was wasted and ment nothing. So before you buy the game just take note that half of the game is competely unavaiable and the only thing you can do is play and replay the campain.

I would like to add that i wasnt able to get a refund for the money i wasted on 3 competely useless dlc's because i played the game for more that 2 hours, so thanks valve for taking my money and giving me unusable content

With the Multiplayer Servers down, single player seems like the only reason to get this game. Getting the DLCs seems kinda pointless (Unless you want to get the G2 Bruticus and G1 Optimus skins) seeing as how the Multiplayer Servers are down. Basically rendering HALF of the achievements null. PLayed War For Cybertron, while it lacks DLC and such, at least Multiplayer is available.
