A free-roaming superhero action game in the vein of previous Spider-Man titles, this tie-in to the Amazing Spider-Man movie ticks a lot of boxes by expanding the film instead of merely reiterating it, by giving the player lots of Spider-Man stuff to do, and by throwing a lot of bones to Spider-Man afficionados by way of easter eggs and unlockables that harken back to Spider-Man's long and storied history (in particular, DLC in which you play as Stan Lee, "king of cameos," for the Spider-Man 50th anniversary).
The problem is that this PC port is dead in the water. Indoors sections handle perfectly, while outdoor sections chug and lag like it's in season. I believe this could be an AMD-isolated issue, but when a game works perfectly on systems like Xbox 360 - which, I should remind you, is actually built with an AMD GPU - and barely functions on a high-end PC, there's not much reason to support the developer or publisher. It's a perfectly serviceable tie-in game for Spider-Man fans... but, sadly, only on consoles. It's a shame.
