The male faces look exelentéée!!! Just what you figure viking (not Norse) men would look like. But the females.... the females!? They all look like the saddest part, of the most folksy, the most inbred area of who knows where. People have complained that the Iberian portraits don't look Ibarian and the same with the Persian and the others; but how can Paradox not know how Norse people look??- They are based in Sweden!
I'm giving it a thumps down for the general lack of contant for the price in these dlc's, but if you gat the cash (and maybe just want to support the company), and the only thing you wonder is whether only cool Male portaits are enough - think of it this way: a bunch of ugly womenfolk at home is merely more reason to go looting viking style!

1 EUR (50% sale) just for epic beards? Totally worth it, unless you want your Viking Emperor of the World to look like a beardless infidel :)

I always wondered why Scandinavians now are all hairless dweebs, but vikings were renowned for having long and epic beards.

This isn't a bad portrait pack, but it has one major flaw : all women look the same. Look at the screenshots and you'll see that all female characters have the exact same facial features, with haircut and hair color being the only difference between one portrait and another. The male characters look pretty good, though.

If I could toggle the male portraits on and the female portraits off, it'd be a great piece of DLC, but I kind of regret buying it because of this.
