Adam's Venture is a simplistic puzzle adventure game. This second episode can be completed in roughly 2 hours. The puzzles are extremely easy and the gameplay feels like a dumbed down Tomb Raider game. Voice acting and the animations are reasonably done. There's not a whole lot of variety to keep it engaging.

Pleasant 2nd episode to this series. More of the same with good looking graphics and simple adventure puzzles to solve with some random action here and there. Simple game with not much investment or time required.

If you enjoy exploring and point and click games, this classic "Indiana Jones"-style game may be something for you.
It's not directly a point and click, but it has the standard find the item; combine to use. What i like with this game is the funny interactions between the characters, the variated puzzles and the exitement of crypt exploring.

The camera view is mostly locked but they manage to get away with it as they kept direction fixed when camera change angle and you do mostly see the whole scene.

If i could wish something more for this game it would be more stealth, the game could have been less forgiving and a bit more open. Also if you don't like puzzles and thinking you might be in a bit of problem, if you can't solve it you won't be able to progress any more in the game. The puzzles difficulty vary a lot.

Just like the first, I recommend this game for kids, young teens, or those in general looking for a very easy puzzle game with some humorous dialouge. The puzzles are easy, and the voice acting is mediocre, but it's still a nice enough game. I completed all achievements in 2.1 hours, and only used the help of a guide to make sure I wouldn't miss chests this time around seeing as there is no way to go back to someone once you pass it (a mistake I made while playing episode 1).

Overall it's a fine game, nothing special but i'd recommend it as an easy puzzle game.

Not actually as bad as having both eyes gouged out with a spork. Not far off though.

It's no secret...Adam Venture's adventure is okay at best.

If you have played the first one...then you know what to expect from this game. There are some improvements like more varied environments and some slightly more challenging puzzles...but there are some worse things too...like the painful storyline and the "romance" between our two heroes. I'd only recommend this to people who find it on sale and have played the first and just really, really want to finish the series.

I liked playing this game.
Loads of fun & humor, a bit harder then part one.
Defo worth a shot.

@The people who wrote a negative review.
Don't break down the game because you simply can't solve a puzzle :-)

It can still be improved indeed. But it's defo fun to play.

I can recommend this game series for:
- Adults who like casual adventures
- young teenager
- children

All three games are casual adventures with (for adults) very easy puzzels and a quiet simple, yet funny humor. The 'action scenes' and language contents are appropriate for the groups mentioned above. Playing as young adventurerer Adam Venture there is quite a bit of decent story that can be discovered during the three games. The graphics are pretty okay for an indie production, the voice acting is also quite good and the controls are very simple. With a very maximum of 2.5 hours of play time for each game the series might be suited for the impatient kind, but is surely a bit disappointing for deep story lovers.

I still don't know why i bother to play this game; I suppose after buying the whole pack, i was determined to finish all three games, even if theyre terrible, terrible games. Anyway, Adam's Venture Episode 2 (seriously, I can't believe they made a second one) picks up where the previous game left off, except it turns out after stopping the evil professor guy ( I seriously can't be bothered remembering his name) the company you work for (yea forgot them too) take you in as prisoners, for no apparent reason. You escape and find Solomon's Temple. Like literally thats the plot. While as before it has a few interesting puzzles, they're still far too easy. Graphics and gameplay are identical to the previous game, and as a result, is still just terrible. Writing and characters are bland, uninteresting and badly written.

If you've played the previous game, and you really, really want to know what happens, then I suggest you write your own fan-fiction, because it'll be better than this.

Better than Part 1, but still no Masterpiece. Cheesy as before, and the same mistake of repeating the same puzzle over and over. The Story build up is better than in part 1 but the puzzle-style mostly doesn´t fit into the setting (to modern for the environment). Again a game for an evening to chill. Worth to buy at a sale.

Unfortunately it's pretty much the same as Episode 1. Different setting and different puzzles though. But somehow some of the puzzles got even worse. Some of them now require just sheer luck and timing instead of intelligence which results in pure frustration. Let's see how Episode 3 fares.

At first you might be skeptic of this game due to it's sort of weak voice acting but once you start playing it actually is pretty good. Even though I don't like adventure/puzzle games that much I still enjoyed playing it until I got enraged at a puzzle and quit. Might pick it up later though.

8/10: Nice adventure game to causally play if you are into indie adventure games.

Eps 2 was cool. The story picks up right where the first one left off. This one gets a little bit of a graphical upgrade from 1. The locations are more varied. It kind of has an Indiana Jones vibe to it, but again it's just basic puzzle solving. It only required a little bit of thinking before being able to figure any puzzle out. A heavy theme of the story is that the Knights Templar hid a bunch of ancient ♥♥♥♥ back in the day and Adam is trying to uncover their secrets before some evil corporation gets their evil grubby mitts on it. Like, Eps 1 there's more secret treasure to be found. After getting all the secret hidden treasure, I triumphantly went back to their website and entered the codes and, at last, that bonus content was to be mine! What was on the accessed website was a teaser trailer for Eps 3 and a couple of random pix and a website about the Knights Templar. What a rip off! I felt like little Ralphie from A Christmas Story decoding the message to be sure to drink Ovaltine. Oh well. I guess it still helped me get 100% on the achievements. There's an achievement just for starting the game, lol. Overall, I'd say I still probably liked Eps 2 the best of the three.

A bit harder puzzles, a bit longer story are the main traits in this episode. This is also a great adventure game, if you can forget the bad physics, the plain graphics and the fact that it is just a story telling puzzle game without any freedom.
