Some days, life as a working clone starts to get you down. A daily grind that sometimes quite literally involves the grinding of your limbs and organs between whirring blades can start to feel like a real drag. Faced with a rat race in a maze that contains horrible death instead of tasty cheese, don’t you sometimes just wish that you could be… somewhere else?

Well now you can! With this new Stealth Bastard Deluxe level pack, you can be in as many places as you like – simultaneously! Just pick up a teleporter from a handy nearby vending machine and disappear in front of your robotic antagonist’s very eyes! Or sensors, or whatever those things have.

This Stealth Bastard Deluxe level pack contains 20 brand new levels that will test your prowess with teleporters. These handheld devices can be placed on any surface to create warp points, helping you to evade the camera’s steely glare. But watch out – the enemies in these levels are wise to your game, and they’ll be doing everything in their power to snuff out your precious little life…

I can understand why they cut this entire puzzle sequence -- you'll often find yourself in unwinnable situations requiring you to start the level over from the beginning, which is something that can't happen in the base game.

On the other hand, once you've gotten used to stopping often to think and plan out your moves in advance, this turns out to be a great sequence of puzzles.

In my opinion, The Teleporter Chambers is a set of 20 of the best designed levels in the entire game. Although the teleporters have always been available in the base game, these 20 levels are designed with the teleporters in mind and it really shows. With The Teleporter Chambers, it always feels as though the sky is the limit and any route you put your mind to can probably be done. It feels fast, slick and has the right amount of challenge.

Having said that, even if you enjoyed the base game, you might not necessarily enjoy The Telerporter Chambers simply because the control scheme demands a certain level of precision to complete and eventually S-rank the levels. If the thought of doing jumping teleporter throws while flying through mid-air seems challenging, it's because it is. But that makes it all the more satisfying when you finally nail it. =)

It's the same Stealth Illigetimate Child with a fresh new trick.

Teleporting feels both fresh and fitting in the game and I found myself having to completely rethink how the game works at some points. Teleporting works by using these 2 little little capsule devices (which can be thrown) and then swapping between them with the press of a button. The in game execution is simple enough, but the game amps up the difficulty and makes this an "easy to learn but hard to master" mechanic. To go along with this new tool, the DLC adds completely new set of levels for you to play on.

This DLC offers a nice bit of challenge and a nice new mechanic to an already solid game. I highly recommend it if you liked the base game, and want a challenge.

Un DLC à l'espérance de vie étonnament longue (2 à 3h de jeu) à cause d'une difficulté bien plus grande que dans le jeu original.
Parcourir ces 20 niveaux de plus n'est pas indispensable, mais pas désagréable non plus. L'ajout des portails permettra malgré tout d'améliorer à nouveau vos scores !
