SFxT Community patch fixed this game for single and co-op play. Well done from saving me from GFWL. It's a lot of fun! Sadly no online play. Good B'E'U.

I really loved this game a lot but... there is 3 things to have in consideration that blows all experience:
- Requires GFWL to be able to save data and play online and this services will be discontinued, the only game that capcom did showed interest to convert GFWL to SteamWorks was the Super Street Fighter IV, so probabily this game will became broken...
- The netcode isnt that great, why devs dont use GGPO netcode?
- Abusive DLC's in all kind ways: costumes, characters that the development were finished in release date and they decided to sold them way later in dlc release method, gems that influence the gameplay performance... so yeah...

This game relies on GFWL, a dead form of DRM that managed game saves. Sadly this game will never save any progress or anything ever, it may be removed from steam due to this. The developer has promised to NEVER update this game. That is strange for a dev to make such a bold statement. While Super Street Fighter will be updated to work on Computers, this game will never be updated. Who does that? What kind of dev makes a game and then never updates the game to even work? Has capcom gone bizzaro on us? Who knows, who cares, once their out of business or whatever their problem is, we can get games that work. Games made by Capcom that are awesome, but apparently its run by crazy people who escaped from an asylum.

(It wont save progress so its almost unplayable but not entirely.)

Street Fighter x Tekken is a great fighting game held back by a lackluster netcode. I absolutely recommend the game for offline play sessions. If you're an Online Warrior, your money may best be spent elsewhere. (Reviewing GFWL Edition as Steam migration has not occured as of this review.)

As much as I love both Street Fighter and Tekken, please spend your money on something else that isn't busy being broken and abandoned. If you're really desperate for this game, pick it up on consoles. It's a bad PC port.

Great 2D fighter!
I started my beat em up experience with Street Fighter but got hooked on Tekken as soon as it came out. This game is more Street Fighter than Tekken but still very good. With the 6 button system there's a lot for me to get used to but the arcade feeling that gives is awesome.

I also enjoy the tag team feature, something I miss in games without it, adn the cartoony feel. It has a lot of humor for a fighting game, and it's not a bad thing...

Warmly recommended for those looking for a casual beat em up game!

Awful, don't buy it, it looks great and if you like both series then yes I would say look up images or get the console versions because this was useless, I thankfully got a refund however the fact is when I tried to insert the cd key, first it needed windows live, then told me that key was already used.

I asked steam for a key, they gave me a list, nothing about it on there. Again thankfully I could return mine within the time limit, but even then with no real way to even play it how could I?

stay away from this and save up your money, this is just a library paperweight and nothing more at this point.

GFWL is horrible! More in a moment.

The game in itself isn't quite bad at all. A little short, but tone of characters to go through, plus a few double-team moves still to learn how to use. The Steam controller works well with the game, though I'm not a huge fan of it, or just need to learn to use it better.

The worst thing is that nothing saves unless you log into Windows for Gaming Live. Which is just plain annoying as I never knew this before I bought the game. I understand online play might use this feature, but to save customisations, this is just a plain insult to customers.

Then online doesn't seem to do anything and just shows a turning circle. Not helpful at all.
I read that there's a community patch for this and you can bypass GFWL altogether so will give this a go.

Recommend this game at a discounted rate only!
