L2B is a Love/Hate thing for me, its diabolically optimised, unstable in editor and has a number of corners cut and obvious bugs that have been ignored for years ... However I still love it and I still get good use out of it two years after purchase. dont get me wrong L2B is an addiction. If you want to stock it properly will cost you dearly. If you are interested in Blue or Sector eras Bringing the route up to prototypicality will cost you well over £200 in first and third party DLC. L2B will cost less if you want to use the route in its modern guise but stock is poorly catered for so you may find yourself somewhat limited. ... The route is well catered for in workshop especially if you have invested in stock.
*chronic lack of portals
*Very unstable in editor, it crashed a lot but there are workarounds if you dont mind delving into the core files
*massive joined up thinking fails, little things like the missing scenic detail at Hove station kill a whole load of operation possibilites.
*Some inexplicable routing bugs
*randomly unresponsive platform markers
*The suicidal zombie pooped pants passengers problem is an epidemic on this route.
Pros - *it just is, trust me buy it and see for yourself
Still one of my top ten favorite routes, London to Brighton is awesome and worth every penny, imagine what it would have been like if some care, attention and joined-up thinking had gone into its development.
