Partendo dal presupposto che non è di certo un gioco per tutti, ha molti lati positivi e negativi, che ora elencherò.

Pro:
- Stile grafico ottimo, colorato e dettagliato.

This is a breakout style game with retro Legen of Zelda graphics that can be fun if you like these kinds of games.
I don't usually like these games but this one grew on me, if this type of game isn't you're cup of tea you may not like it, especially in the later levels when it gets very difficult.

Overall I recommend it since it's only $3 and if it's on sale you should buy it.

This was a fun little thing. It's the classic Breakout formula with some sprinkles on the top, kind of reminicant of Arkanoid (but with magic).

Arkanoid/Breakout clone with a fantasy story. The presentation is great (just the repeated music will eventually get on your nerves) and the controls are flawless. For the price a really great little game if you like(d) Breakout.

Quite possibly the best game for value on Steam, so fun, I have spent the best part of 7 minutes on this. Quite possibly one of the best games that has potentially graced Steam itself. It is full of fun and the odd bit of banter bouncing off the walls here and there. Fun for all the family and is a great game to show off to your friends when they stay round at your house. The guy with the beard on the picture is very often cracking witty jokes here and there and making you laugh and making this game very valuable and enjoyable. My girlfriend often likes to play this game when she is horny because it is such a fulfilling game and tends to every need of the human body and mind. Great fun. Great plot. Best 7 minutes of my life I am never going to get back. A whopping 10/10

Don't be fooled by its looks.
Wizorb is off to a pleasant start with its charming pixel look reminiscent of the RPGs of the days of yore. It's miles better than most pixellated wannabe-retro indie games nowadays.
However, while it wears the RPG design on its sleeves, it's all merely eye candy.
You visit a single tiny hub town serving as little more than a place to shop for items, talk to every person once and be done with the RPG side of things. Gameplay-wise Wizorb is 95% Arkanoid/Breakout and 5% RPG. At most.
Unfortunately, the paddle action isn't the tightest either with some rooms taking a dreadfully long time to complete.
The magic system is neat with its fireballs and gusts of wind, but it runs dry quickly by giving you all options very early in the game. Maybe they should have saved some spells for later.

For the low price the developer is asking for it might even be worth a quick shot for diehard fans of the genre, but if you're here for the RPG aspect, don't bother. Also, I hate achievements that turn into huge grindfests. While I did get 100% achievements within a couple of hours, those last few hours had been spent with repeatedly grinding for money.

As a big fan of brick breaker type games, I of course had to give this a go. And I'm really glad I did, adds a great twist to a rather old concept. Very fun but rather short, the music is great and love the art style. The levels don't feel all the same and the boss fights are interesting. Some levels can feel as if dragging on trying to get those last few blocks but the magic abilities help balance that. If you want a Bricker breaker with RPG like story then grab it, plenty worth the money.

Arkanoid clone with added magic? Sounds awesome! Sadly the result falls far from my expectations. Installation requires additional packages and restarts, gameplay (or physics?) is far from intuitive, some levels badly designed. Would not have played this long if I had acquired the trading cards earlier.

I love Breakout style games. I really want to like this one for it's RPG elements. However, the level design is frustrating and needlessly difficult. I found myself getting upset more often than enjoying it.

Was excited to play a new take on an old game; deeply disappointed. Level design is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, some levels are not difficult but rather tedious and luck based. So much potential for this game to be a fun block smasher, just ends up being frustrating. 4/10 stay away, buy another block break game that is actually worth your money.

Arcanoid clone, that is not very well done and painfully difficult to play. Its graphics and music are supposed to bring up NES nostalgia, but all I can remember is the frustration of constantly losing.

It's an Arkanoid clone, but with an added twist! Namely, unfulfilled promises of RPG elements and being so mind-numbingly dull you'd rather be bouncing actual balls at actual brick walls instead.

I really tried to like this game, it was a nice idea but terrible balance in the game itself. Plus the music gets annoying as hell.

Wizorb iz probably the most MLG game there is to come around during the Holiday Season. It is ONLY three dollars and totally worth it. Snoop Dogg gave this game a 100/100 on Metacritic and it iz super swag too. Also, this game is sponsered by Mountain Dew, Doritos, AND Call of Duty therefore it iz the best game 2014. It will be released in 2015 thanks to Obama and his amazing presidency. The game devs told me that Snoop Dogg told them how to code this game. It will only be released on the DS Triple and the Wii U. It is also considered to be DLC for Smash 4 including Shrek and Donkey as a playable characters and Fiona as a boss. Thanks for Listening!

Long levels and slower gameplay than other games of the genre, which can be a good or bad thing depending on the player.
Can actually see what's going on on the screen.

The first zone of Wizorb requires you to complete twelve levels and a boss in a single sitting; if you lose all your lives or quit in the middle of it, you keep none of your hard-earned gold. Precise mouse control with left- and right-click is clearly a superior option to two-speed digital control, but the UI makes no reference to mice, instead displaying either keyboard or controller buttons. The music is droning and repetitive and doesn't stop if you alt-tab out. While these various quibbles aren't dealbreaking, the game clearly feels like a 90s era console game, but doesn't really take advantage of that fact.

On the gameplay side, hitboxes aren't nearly as clear as they should be for a genre that demands precision. Boxes, for instance, only have hitboxes on the top portion, as the ball is effectively floating off of the ground. This is probably the biggest dealbreaker, especially where enemies are likely to hover near the bottom of the level and liable to send your ball careening in a seemingly random direction.

In all, Wizorb feels like a poor PC port of a mediocre Xbox game.

This game could have been a lot of fun but several design decisions really put the brakes on.

1) Defeating levels are more about luck than skill: often there is one brick left to hit, making it quite tedious. There are even achievements in this game for going longer than 45 seconds without hitting anything (that's a bad sign).

2) The batches of levels are WAY too long (~15 levels) and going back to the main town to hand in coin erases all progress of that level batch and clears your inventory. This is not a bug and there is no warning. I literally had to replay the levels all over again after thinking I would go back to town and hand in my stuff.

3) Part of the goal of the game is to rebuild a broken town, so that's what the player starts to do. Then, the player realizes there is an achievement for beating the game without rebuilding anything in the town. So... I guess we have to start all over again just to get the achievement?

4) The music is VERY repetitive and of poor quality, which makes it hard to listen to.

If this game is on for $0.50 or less, you might find some enjoyment, but there are WAY better Breakout games available, Shatter being one. Save yourself the trouble and play Shatter instead.
