About the Game

Humanity is at war against vampires and deviants. Mankind's last line of defense is a group of children trained to wield powerful magic that can rival the demonic hordes, but at the cost of most of their lifespan. Likened to bullets of a gun, they are known as the ‘Gun Bullet Children’.

The time is NOW! A vampire invasion force has been detected in the airspace above Tokyo Portal 5. Preliminary reports indicate over 500 vampires and accompanying Killings Dolls with reinforcing hordes of deviant humans. Fun side scroller. If you like side scroller than this is the game for you. I belive it has come down in price since I bought it (from £4.99 to £1.99). Unfortunatly there is a clear lack of instructions so its worth going online before-hand and searching controlls.
Graphics look old school arcade type. All around a fun game for a hour or two but with a distinct lack of save options you habve to play the game all the way through to finish it in one go.

7/10 Fun but not something you'll play for hours every day

Definitely the weakest of the eXceed games in the package, this game is still a good hardcore shmup for fans of that genre. I wouldn't recommend picking it up on its own and instead opt for the Jade Penetrate Black game instead as it's much more polished.

Fun to see where the series came from but not much else.

Sadly this game doesn't come with any translated text, all I see is symbols which are supposed to be Japanese characters (I assume since it's a Japanese game and I don't have those fonts installed)
The controls are a mess to figure out and there's not really any info (that I can understand) on how to play the game.

Of course that didn't stop me from fiddling around a bit and it turns out it's a bit of an "arcade style" 2D birds-eye view shooting game. Apparently there's a background story to it that's completely lost to me so if anyone with Japanese understanding would like to elaborate feel free to do so.

The shooting patterns become increasingly difficult to dodge and the entire game is accompanies by some techno beats that jell pretty well with the game in my opinion.

So if you're after anything story related this is a clear pass. If you just want to spend some time shooting stuff and dodging bullets in plain and simple shooter game, this is probably worth trying out.

I wouldn't spend anything over 1€ on this old-non-english game. So get it on sale or as an gift if you really want to try it.
