"8 cards, a tad pricey since it's a F2P game. 2 of the uncommon backgrounds are worth a lot though if you're feeling lucky."

Get ready for ArcheBlade:

Based on a Korean Fantasy Novel, ArcheBlade is a free-to-play PvP-based multiplayer action game in which users can either take sides and fight against the other team or fight for themselves depending on the map. Players choose one of several characters, each with their own unique fighting style and action combos.

ArcheBlade captures the essence of combo-based fighting games like Street Fighter or Tekken combined with online multiplayer match system. Rather than pressing shortcut keys mindlessly to use skills, players need to pay close attention to their character and their opponents’ moves in order to perform combos as well as block and avoid attacks all happening in real-time. Do you like fighting games? Do you enjoy non-stop action? Are you competitive? Then this game is for you.

Select a fighter of your style! Each with unique combos and fighting style, each character brings different game to the table. Find a character that matches your style in Training and perfect your skills. Please stay tuned as we’re adding more characters in the future.

With more than 500 items available, you can customize your character to your preference. People will definitely notice you when you have items on.

From Team Deathmatch and Capture the Base to Free for All and Team Last Man Standing, each game mode has a different goal to accomplish. One more thing to remember. Always watch your surroundings when you play in a map as you may get hit by a train, or lose a step and fall off the bridge. More game modes will be added in the future so please stay tuned.

Capture the Base
Work as a team and defeat the opposing side by capturing the bases scattered around in the map. Protect your bases or teammates when they’re capturing. Be on the lookout as you are capturing, there may be someone to interrupt you right at the end.

Team Last Man Standing
The team with the most round wins will prevail. Be careful as there are no respawns during rounds. There’s nothing like being the last survivor and deliver a win for your teammates at the end while they’re all watching you.

Free for All
No more friendship, just killing. Are you the type that prefers being a lone wolf? This is just for you. The rule is simple. The one who gets the most kills wins the match. Careful though as there are wolves lurking in the shadow ready to steal your kill.

Team Deathmatch
A team with more kills wins the match. To get a kill is the biggest contribution you can make to your team here. Be a support or that guy who’s always at the very front of battle. Whatever gets kills is good for the team.

This is a very good example of game lost in the F2P section, abandoned to its fate since the Devs (for financial reasons) had to put the game on hold, that the main problem of F2P model from start, when something is missing that doesnt self support the idea, the outcome is usually this, sadly.

Its not a bad game, exacly the other way around, it is good, give some entertainement and can be lots of fun, they simply failed in store concept that was unable to fufill its sustentability, im almost certain that this title was pay before hand game, would had diferent fate since it have all the components to be succefull and its community is proof of that.

Im not a big fan of fighting games, but Archeblade is somehow interesting and fun at same time, i hope the devs overcome the dificulties and finish their project, but was it stands, its already acomplishement.

Just imagine an Online arena with Soul Calibur characters fighting with Dynasty-Warrior-combo gameplay. Archeblade is a laidback, arena type of multiplayer game with many interactive (cosmetic) customizations, but can start becoming rather repetitive after a while due to the lack of gameplay content (new characters, abilities, etc.) A gamepad is not needed to play but is recommended. Archeblade uses a stretch goal system in which more content is released the more sales they gain in the in-game store. There are 13 Characters to choose from and 7 maps currently (with more to come hopefully).

+ Graphics are crisp, with anime-like art style
+ Cute and unique characters
+ Casual and easy to pickup and play
+ Cosmetics
+ Easy to learn
+ Good PvP

- No modding
- Low content pool (but will expand in future)
- Lots of noobs (like every game)
- Can feel repetitive
- Lag (depends on server location)
- Balance issues (but it's just for fun so who cares right?)

Overall 8/10

Probably the most unfriendly game for newbies I have ever played. You already start the game pvping against people at the maximum lvl. The graphics are ok, but the ingame mechanics dont work at all. Really awkward controls and game physics.

Archeblade is a third-person fighting game that users fight along with multiple players in real time. Users control one of several characters, each with a strong personality based on the fantasy novel ‘Archeblade’. Which character will you choose based on various attacking styles? Will you prefer to fight with a gun, a sword, a hammer, a scythe or a magic bullet? It’s your call. Archeblade is also free to play so download the game and try it out!

Great online game that can be played with friends.

This would have been a nice game if not for lack of community right now!!

I found that lag severely affects the enjoyment of this game; With most of the servers relative to my location hovering at 100+ ping or more, needing to lead the opponents becomes a hassle.

If you can play without the high ping and find enough people to play with, it would be worth giving this game a shot.

Note: This game has been abandoned by its developers.
