About This Content

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 HD Revert Pack, the downloadable content for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD, expands on game’s winning formula with the inclusion of three levels from the original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 (Airport, Los Angeles, and Canada). Skateboarding legends Steve Caballero and Geoff Rowley make their return to the world of Tony Hawk games and James Hetfield and Robert Trujillo from Metallica make a surprise appearance as playable characters. But perhaps most importantly for true fans, the Revert move makes it return for mind-blowing combos!

The levels themselves are pretty much perfectly ported, though I was disappointed to see that the goals for the levels were a bit more lazily done compared to THPS3. For example, in the LA level there's no car chase to stop, in Canada there's no skaters to impress (for a goal), in Airport there's no pickpocketers to stop, etc. These goals are replaced with basic 'collect x items'. That was pretty lame.

The reverts feel clunky and only seem to work half of the time, with a noticable delay compared to the previous games. The animation looks more like the change stance animation from THUG2 than the revert animation, and the sound from the revert is pretty quiet.

If you just want the levels, then yeah, get this DLC because the maps themselves are well ported, though the goals are pretty low-effort and the revert is clunky and should've been in the game from the start.

I really wish they would've put this in the beginning of Tony Hawk HD already in the game. Its a must have if you really want to have all the levels . The 3 levels that this DLC includes are awesome and should of came with the game at release. The 3 levels have little things changed in them but for the most part they have the pure feel it had from back in the day. Get it to have all the levels.

This DLC features 3 levels from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 which are nicely updated into HD. There are some new characters I don’t care about. But the main reason to get this is the revert move which allows you to string together bigger combos and is quite difficult to live without if you have played the later games in the series.

Reverts should've been part of the game from the beginning. Only reason I bought it was because 1. Reverts 2. Robert Trujillo has that Venice Beach Crossover Thrash/Suicidal Tendencies from the 80's and 90's.

would have been nice if they'd just put them in the main game rather than annoying DLC but worth every penny to play the maps again, they're not perfect but a nice addition to the HD game
