It's not that bad! But it is also not worth 9,99€/$, if you ask me.. Wait for a sale and you have fun for some hours!

Its a classic top-down-racing game. It's not that "Bang Bang" like my first thought when i read the game name. The only thing that can explode is one type of 3 different barrels. It's not something like Mario Kart, but you can see it in some Let's play or example videos. But still it is a nice game, sometimes too easy, sometimes really challenging, but there are some times while playing you are proud of doing something. ;)

The Data about the game:
There are 9 tracks with 6 different types (normal, reverse, short, short reverse, with cutoff (? sorry, i am not a native English speaker ;) ) and cutoff reverse) and 20 different cars sorted in 4 classes and for each class 5 types. The types are handling, protected (stronger in crashing and have more health points), best acceleration, best top speed, strongest nitro. Every Event is connected to a class, so you have to pick one of the five types out of one class. If you beat a series of events you can switch to the higher one and can pick the next class, which are faster and the AI are smarter.

The Singleplayer is okay, but not addicting. Just if you want all achievements.
But the Multiplayer is really, really fun! You can invite some friends and play with 2 player at one keyboard and with xbox-controller with bots. It can be really fun and is worth some Euros, but dont expect to much. There are better Top-Down-Racing-Games, but this is still a nice one.

"Bang Bang Racing had stop working after you won 5 of the 8 last races and right before you had the chance to have your game auto-saved."

TOO BAD FOR YOU, IT IS THE THIRD TIME IN A ROW THE GAME CRASHES RIGHT BEFORE YOU FINISHED IT !
"Ah Ah" should add the developers.

Don't buy this, it is not finished and it won't be. No more updates since 2012.

You CAN'T EVEN REMAP THE KEYS !!

It was unplayable on windows XP, it is still crashing on Windows 7 with 8 Giga of Ram and GTX560ti...

It's a shame because, even if graphics aren't HD but oversized for 1080P, the game is pretty challenging.
Sometimes good driving by cornering and braking at the right time is rewarding, but at the harder levels, many of the A.I. cars always overtakes you with extra nitros and brakes in front of you to block-passes you and ruins your race.

Sometimes you are blocked by a pile of cars, all trying to block you at the same time, instead of rushing to victory.

So, there is the "codemaster's solution" = RESTART RACE ! ... if it hasn't crashed before to windows desktop.

I have no clue how this has such glowing reviews.
The game is a mess on a technical level, it lags constantly on high-end machines and even threw a full system crash my way.
This is not an isolated issue, the forum is full of people with such issues.

If there WEREN'T any such issues then this could actually be a fun but mediocre arcade racing game, but in its current state it's absolutely unplayable.

the game could have been so much better if the camera was not a disaster! Even when its fixed it feels awful.
the graphics are good and the controller feels a bit loose when steering.

One of the best mini racing games i recently played (out of Death Rally, Mini Motor Racing and others). It has better looks and physics than Mini Motor Racing for sure. And it's harder. And you play with every type of cars in every next championship, so you have to try them all. And every new type is faster, harder to handle and master. And F1 is actually the fastest type, not some stupid BUS on steroids :)
