I bought it for a dollar. If I wasn't a sucker for cheap games I'd want my dollar back. I don't think that is a lesson I'll ever learn...

There just isn't anything here that another match 3 can't do better. Some of them are even free; check out the Marvel Puzzle Quest here on Steam for a f2p option.

The DRM is horrific and the game is half-broken. You'd be better off spending your money on literally anything else.

3SwitcheD is an interesting take on the puzzle genre that rounds up six very diverse game modes that consists of a crazy mix of Sega Swirl, Bejeweled and some quirky originals like Moving 4-Ward and Pathfinder. Rather than level based career paths, 3SwitcheD sticks to just the standard continuous unlimited modes that progressively increase in difficulty as you go.Now there isn't a gamer alive that cannot be pulled in by the addictive monotony of Bejeweled, Tetris, Dr. Mario, the list goes on when it comes to unforgettable puzzle games, and Reality Pump try their all with a host of eccentrically named modes; Snazzy Swap, Clearing Clusters, Falling Star, Moving 4-Ward, Pathfinder and Gravity Switch.Snazzy Swap is your standard Bejeweled clone, swap gems around and match three to make way for some new gems on your game board, similarly you?ll find what I would call a version of Sega Swirl in both Clearing Clusters and Gravity Switch, both with their own unique spins on clearing the game board by removing clusters of two or more of the same coloured gems, then there?s Falling Star that acts similarly to Panel de Pon with some minor alterations, all sound familiar enough right? Well these are your standard puzzle types out the way, now the remaining two game modes are where 3SwitcheD really shines.Creating a new and an engaging puzzle mode is by no means an easy feat, but the two game types of Moving 4-ward and Pathfinder really take the biscuit, and the reason that these two stand out so well is the true strategic and tactical manner required to approach them.3SwitcheD's innovative 3D-Eye Tracking Technology is most certainly an allure to the game, and using a simple webcam allows the game space to turn into a fully tilting 3D environment.Contrary to your standard online leader boards, the highscore system in 3SwitcheD is extremely unusual and rather than source an online list of scores, you are asked to upload your score along with your email and name allowing you to appear on the 3SwitcheD website rather than in the game, this does stunt the competitive nature of the game, after all, everyone wants to be number one!One particular feature of the game that makes 3SwitcheD quite a marmite title is the inclusion of a male, or female announcer that comments on the combos you make, the time you have, and generally anything to ensure that you are not simply sat in the comfortable silence of a pounding soundtrack. Topware and Reality Pump have certainly collected together some of the best puzzle types in one game, however unfortunately apart from the strategic modes among them, the rest lack character.Overall 6/10.

3SwitcheD is a shameless copy of Bejeweled and other games like it. I must say i was a Bejeweled addict back in the MSN days but these are long gone. There are different kinds of modes which probably all are copied like one mode is like "Columns" (a Sega Mega Drive game). I got this game in a bundle but I wonder who would pay 10,- euro when you can play games like this on Flash Game websites? There's absolutely no reason to buy. I'm pretty sure there isn't even a leaderboard (I quit before i could enter one because it was too easy). The worst part is the annoying voice each time you connect 3 jewels saying stuff like "Terriffic", "Great", "Awesome" and ofcourse "Badabingbang" (or something) accompanied by some space trance.

If you get this game you must:
1. Be a Bejeweled addict and want some new scenery.
2. Be rich (well rich enough you don't mind spending money on crap)
3. Be too lazy to go find a Flash game website or don't know how google works.
4. Own all other games on Steam that you can buy with 10,-
5. You love it when a guy encourages you for doing lame stuff.

I rest my case .... Badabingbang!

Its bejeweled, but no surprise there. Has different game modes, but most of them are pretty standard for the "match 3" genre of games. I cant recommend this game unless you feel an intense burning desire to pay to play bejeweled.

On the plus side, nvidia 3d vision works with this game.

A great waste of 10 bucks. Unless you can get this at $2.49 or lower, stay away from this game.

Disclaimer first: THIS GAME IS NOT WORTH ITS FULL PRICE.

However, if you are lucky like I was and got that game while it was on a 90%-sale, it was well worth the euro spend. Sure, there might be better Match-3-games out there, but this one has a calming soundtrack in the background, some nice animations, a good announcer (imo) and not that bad designs either.

If you happen to get a good (75+ %) sale, give it a try. I had and have fun with it.

Do you like Bejeweled? Or any other "match3" game that is around?

Then please look for an alternative since this game is not worth your time, or your money. And I can give you some reasons to this.

The game copies the gameplay of Bejeweled without even reaching the actual playability of the original. It's glitchy at best, even on high end machines it does play slow, errors will happen (eg. the cristal you clicked on isn't moving because of some error, the game crashes suddenly and very unexpectedly sometimes). The game is anoying, especially the voiceacting isn't at a high quality. The graphics are - mediocre - at best, even with this 3D view. On some Notebooks or Computers with "On Board" Graphic-cards the game doesn't even start.

I really don't know where to stop about this game, it is a disgrace for the casual genre and it's also far to expensive for what you get here ... well, there were quite some games that weren't a good buy. I regard this game, even at a very good discount one of them.

This game, makes Bad Rats look like a masterpiece...

Looks like it might be a nice game. BUT:

It's saddled with some extra DRM junk that requires you to activate it on TopWare's servers. TopWare's activation server for this game are DOWN, and seem to have been that way for months.

So I'm forced to play in DEMO mode...

Avoid this and any game with extra completely useless DRM!
It forces us to pirate the game we payed for legally, just so we can play it.

I would have never bought this game, or even known about it, had it not been for a 90% off coupon I got through crafting. I am not really impressed though and wished I had saved my 1 dollar for some other game. Its alright for what it is. Its that same type of game play as, say...Candy Crush, but Candy Crush is FREE! They catch your interest with the 3D and the camera mode but that feature doesn't work very well. The screen moves around whenever you move your head, even slightly and in stead of it staying in the direction you are looking (like it is supposed to) it pops back to center. And its really useless. It doesn't help with gameplay or make it any more interesting, it just rotates the screen back and forth. Who can concentrate when your screen is swinging around? You can turn the camera feature off, but like I said before there are other games better than this that are Free.

As a fan of Bejeweled with about 60 hours clocked in on that game, I tried this out when I snagged a coupon to get it for $1. It's awful in every way. It isn't anywhere near as visually appealing as Bejeweled. It's not as fun. There's nothing about it to make it worth playing or to separate it from the competition. Add to that the horrible Topware DRM added to a Steam game and it's just a nasty waste of $1.

If you like casual puzzle games then you might like this, this is very similar to Bejeweled only not as good IMO.
It uses the same principle, match the gems to destroy them etc and get the best score you can, there is a few different game modes to play but nothing special and this isnt something that will keep you going for hours thats for sure, but it is abit of fun none the less.

Overall, its ok for a few mins gameplay here n there but not the best puzzle game in the world, and personally i wouldnt spend any money on it, opt for bejeweled instead.

I bought this game with a 90% off coupon so i cant personally say that i got ripped off, but if you buy this game for full or even half price you are most definately getting your money's worth. This overpriced appdiguising itself as a full fledged game is not only boring it is a liar. the gameplay, although there are a fair few modes is simplistic and was done better in 10,000,000. the game tries to sell itself on a 3D gimmick based of using your webcam to track your face and eyes and move the puzzle around accordingly to create the ilusion of three dimensional space and depth. although on their own the graphics are, while not interesting or overly baried, are clean and sharp, but the camera is so bad at the face tracking that the whole game is allways shaking around in a manner that made my head hurt. when turned off on the other hand the game loses any pop it had and the fact that the name itself implies that the game is 3D, selling itself as different because of the 3D loses its purpose.

3/10 just avoid, not offensive necissaraly, there isnt enough to it to be offensive, just a plain bad game.

In the world of video games, if there is a hell it is filled with match three puzzle games.

Now I will preface this review saying I am not the biggest fan of match three games in the first place, but even with saying that, 3SwitcheD is not a good game.

Now I am going to go on and skip explaining what you do in a match three game and focus on what is 'new' here, there are six game modes, 'Snazzy Swap' being your standard game mode that plays like a poorly optimized version of Bejeweled with a combo clock that makes a man/woman's voice go higher and higher as you gain combos till it sounds like he/she is having a real good time from your abilities to match three (And really who wouldn't?)

Outside of the main mode all the other modes of the game... rather suck, 'Falling Stars' is somewhat alright where you start with a blank board and they drop jewels from the top for you to match like a proverbial rat in a cage, but outside of that one the rest are about matching jewels in odd ways such as making shapes or effecting gravity.

The game reports to using "Face-Tracking Technology" which is a fancy word for saying you can turn on your webcam and look around the 3D play-field... but you will never do that because there is absolutely no reason to, the graphics, animations, and environment hold nothing special at all and look mediocre at best with poor optimization, and when you play a match three puzzle game, you are not going to be moving your head to get a better angle, this all doesn't matter anyway because none of it works... seriously, it works for like a few seconds then pops back to normal.

And finally to top it all off it has third-party DRM, you must activate the game using a CD-key on TopWare's servers, so not only is it a bad game, if the servers are down (Like they usually seem to be) you can't even play it, though maybe that is a good thing overall.

Though the description makes this sound like a proper 3D Bejeweled game, the only 3D elements are that the board itself has a very limited 3D effect as you move the cursor around, plus a few other gimmicks. This is little more than a mediocre tech demo copying elements from far better games.
