This game handles free-to-play very well, and it is certainly not a pay-to-win game, basically the only thing you can get with cash in this game is cosmetic items, and honestly, I find myself buying a lot of these to deck out my airmechs and make them look cool, but another great thing about this game's economy is the pricing, you can get about 3 new airmechs for 5$ depending on how expensive they are.
On to the gameplay, there are a wide variety of units to choose from which I think makes this game pretty interesting, I love unlocking new units and playing around with them. There are also a wide variety of airmechs, pilots and parts, each with their own advantages and disadvantages, and there is a very large amount of customization in this game, which I love.
I spend a lot of time playing this game now, and it's quite addicting, if you get this game, I would highly reccomend getting the starter kit for 10$ to get the full experience, but you should play the game a bit for yourself first to see if you yourself really like this game, because this game also does not push you into buying the premium version (Silver VIP), for example, when you have premium, you get diamonds (Cash currency) for getting cetain achievments, but if you get Silver VIP, any diamonds from achievments you would have obtained before you got Silver VIP will be stockpiled up, and you can collect all of them after getting Silver VIP. Probably one of the best parts about the starter kit is that you get enough diamonds to buy practically anything you want which is great.
Overall this is a very fun and interesting strategy game, and I would highly reccomend playing it.
After reading through this, I've realized that it almost sounds like I was payed to write this review, but I wasn't, it's just that good, Carbon Games is a great company, thank you very much for making this great game, and not being stingy with the pricing either!
