Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers is one of the most unique games I have ever played.
The main game mechanic, on which all gameplay is based off of, is slicing (with your awesome laser slicer), pulling, and pushing pieces of... well... stuff - statues, pillars, blocks, walls, floors, just about anything. It's super fun, fluid, and addictive, and what really defines this game.
The story is quite simple, Tiny (who you play as) is looking for his Grandpa's white, fine rib underpants - who Big (your arch nemesis) is wearing.
The artstyle in this game is unique and gorgeous, I've never seen a game with a similar artstyle, so I can't give you an example. Watching a video is OK to get an idea of what it's like, but when you're in-game is when the graphics really shine. So yeah, the art is fantastic, but don't expect Crysis 3-esque graphics, the highlight in the graphical department is the artstyle, not textures, lighting or any of that.
The sound effects are satisfying, and are complimented with cartoony "BANG", "SMASH" and "FIZZLE" pop-ups. The soundtrack is fan-f*cking-tastic, you add to the soundtrack by collecting tapes in-game, and they're all (in my opinion) awesome. I would recommend getting the game+soudtrack version, but first search YouTube for some tracks from the game to see if it's your kind of thing.
Some other stuff:
I finished the game in almost 4 hours, but i have nowhere near 100% completion - the game is full with stuff to collect - tapes, and tons of rocks (yeah, you collect these special rocks). So if you take you time to enjoy the game, have fun with the slicing, and make an effort to find secrets (there are secret rooms with easter egg-ish stuff in them), you can probably sink almost 15 hours into the game in one playthrough.
Also, I would say the game deservees a higher score than metacritic's 75, it's a real Indie pearl.
Definitely recommend! Have fun!
