Tiny and Big: Grandpa's leftovers is an indie puzzle game that takes place in some desert someplace where you play some loser with a radio and access to some dangerous technology which you will use to kill space-gophers, desecrate ancient civilizations, and generally cause mayhem, so that you can retreive some underwear from the clutches of your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ of a relative, who has put them on his head to rule over the mortal realm. Cut rocks suck ♥♥♥♥♥ slap rockets to rocks, push rocks, and tie ropes to rocks while listening to your sentient radio, as you make your way to victory. Well it's not REALLY victory, but it's the thought that counts.

A nice, small game with a fantastic central mechanic. The art has a lot of charm and, dispite being very short (about 2 hours long) it doesn't overstay its welcome wich is more than I can say about most games nowadays.

such a good game, must buy on sale!

unique mechanics, nice humour, funny story, nice art style.
the only thing that happened to me was that i got "stuck" in the 2nd (?) tutorial for 50 minutes trying to find a way out and discovering high places. but it didn't even feel like i was stuck. it was so fun anyway playing with those boulders.

11/9, jet fuel can't melt my attitude after this game

Interesting physics. This game is fun and has a lot of pros like a weird story, endless possibilities to pass a level, boss fights. The only con that I can think of is the fact that it automatically saves and you are not given the possibility to save the game whenever you want .

This really is a fantastic game that can arrest you with its dynamic and fun gameplay. Cutting, pulling and pushing are basically all you need to do.
Each phase can be very well explored containing items and different objectives to look for, where to get a higher percentage of the stage is totally necessary to analyze each point of the stage and always suspicious of certain walls and pillars. To start this game, you should keep in mind that not every place is right and not everything that is in front to be clear, in fact can be your error. As at one point that there is a pillar to be cut, and on it several stones (collectibles) which are felled by cutting this pillar, a must improvise a passage to the other side. However when analyzing best you can view other pillar, however this is down platforms at the end if you try to find that you can move without causing further on damage (without hampering your way) and then immediately you can take the stones just following in front. To get an idea I took about 30 minutes to complete the second phase, which made a point of trying to exploit the maximum and this exploitation is very worthwhile because it is one of the most fun things, discover secrets. In the game there battles with boss, however the stage itself there is no enemy itself .... At such times you are your biggest rival. If you must follow a path and he will try to kill you, so without direct confrontation and you die with one blow. The boss attacks you with telecines using this to play him with stones and tear down the pillars on you. As I said commands in the game are: cut, pull (use rope) and use rocket to push away objects, or push with your hands those who are closer, and jump.
The most fun are the chances you can improvise your way being the most basic and simple or you can invent other ways to move forward, because everything that can be cut "you bear that receive the correct demarcation, from one end to another) can If cut at will and in the direction you want and it leaves you free to explore how to move forward. Unfortunately, these functions can not be combined (this would give much more possibilities). The songs in the game are collectible and you can change them as the unlocks, which were totally pleasant. Like the music, tapes, there are stones and an extra stage (represented by a maquinha of Arcadian). Something I found interesting about this extra game is that on the first found machine, despite the ease, it is said that if you do not like to participate in the phase or if you can not pass, just walk out the door (ie without facility) and her case not has completed the goal will be written something like "out of the losers" and if you win the writing becomes "out of the winners." Although it is not complete there is no real punishment, however the fact admit it's a loser can motivate you to try harder times not to stain his honor.
The story itself is totally misplaced and tries to mood every time there is progress in history, however in my opinion is just a backdrop to go adventuring and actually it does not affect anything because that will really make you play It will be the gameplay. Although the game can be considered relatively short, I believe it was done in an exact dosage which gives a taste of want more and feel that it has continued.

NOTE: 8/10

PS: no errors were found during gameplay.

This game is very interesting, exciting and entertaining. I also like this crazy story. You can cut and move almost every stone you encounter. I'm loving cutting stones! Try to find your own path and search for different secrets.

Some levels demand the player to arrive at certain places without a well pre-established way. So one need to cut, drag, push stone cubes/pillars/walls/beams etc. You can find alternative ways to beat levels, for example without cutting anything. There are also boss fight stages, where you should evade or cut down the stones thrown at you.

At last I talk about the achievements, 100% completion is not hard. The collection of all flashing stones in episode 4 is quite challenging. Pay attention to the stones on the top of all blue pillars (no guide or video for this achievement). It took me 10 hours in total to get all the achievements.

This strange, beautiful, pants-obsessed platformer is a surprisingly fun, hidden gem of a game.

Tiny & Big sat in my inventory for a long time, one of those titles I bought because it was on sale. The screen shots generally don't do it any justice making it an easily overlooked title; the name doesn't help either.

The graphics, although strange, are a suitable stylistic choice that fit well with the theme. Likewise, the music is unusual but enjoyable. A couple new tracks are hidden in each level, so finding them is a good idea if you want to expand the game's song list.

The most noteworthy design element in the game is the physics engine with the ability to cut pillars, statues, boulders and most other stone items. It feels amazing to push, pull, and hack apart such large objects and dynamically alter the game environment. The simple act of cutting objects at any angle without the use of voxels was something I had never seen before.

I appreciated how the designers encouraged experimentation; most of the trial and error situations encountered aren't that painful. Despite my low tolerance for gaming frustration and rather poor platforming skills this game won me over and I fought through. It's a short game at 3-5 hours, but it has a lot of replay value if you enjoy achievement hunting.

Those whom enjoy the exploration of platformers, will surely love hunting down hidden objects and discovering the various Easter eggs that Tiny & Big has to offer. I enthusiastically recommend this somewhat underrated title to everyone.

What a badass game. Tiny and Big is truly a unique game in the sea of indie games that exists now. I'm super bummed it didn't get the attention it deserved. The art style alone set's it apart. The soundtrack is freaking sweet, got some psychedelic beatles 1960s indie fusion ♥♥♥♥ going on, I like it. It is a short game, but the mechanics/art alone make it worth the purchase. Check it out for sure, awesome game

Did you ever start playing a game, which you litterrally expected nothing of and then the game took you on a fun ride that lasted for 3 hours and then was over? And you wonder why they havn't made a second one?!? :D Tiny and Big Grandpa's Leftovers is crazy. The music is crazy (and fun!), the gameplay is crazy (and fun!) the story is VERY crazy (and a lot of fun!), the characters (there are only 2 in the game) are comicly funny and entertaining. The gameplay is sandbox"ish". You can cut, pull and push almost every obstacle in the game. Carve yourself stairs to the top of that tower? Go for it. :) It's unique art style combined with that crazy music even creates a funny atmosphere. The game is packed with secrets and stuff to find. I replayed it twice, just to get most of the achievements (which are hilarious, too). The main character is accompanied by a radio that has the right phrase for every situation. Unfortunatly there are no voices in the game, so you have to read everything. That's kind of hard, while you're running for your life, trying not to get crushed.
The game is not very hard (but no, it is not EASY) and you'll see the credits after 3 hours. Plus achievement time. This game is worth every cent you spend on it. Stop reading! Buy it, play it and write an email to the developers asking for a second one!

Remember when you failed 2nd semester physics class because you should have been paying attention, but instead ended up wasting the lectures away daydreaming about wearing your underwear on your head and becoming a pseudo-Aztec god of the mole people? Remember when you put your underwear on your head and tried to convince your college roommate's mother that you actually were a pseudo-Aztec god of the mole people? And how you spent the next night in prison, where you met Thorn, who gave you that really sweet tat of Maya Angelou fighting a 4-winged serpent on your forehead? That's what this game feels like.

Tiny and Big feels more like a dev studio showing off a fun physics engine than it does a fully fleshed-out game. The platforming is sometimes difficult to figure out, mostly because you have to learn the mechanics of the game as you go along--after the tutorial levels, the hints are few and far between. The "rocket" tool seems to have no reasonable use except to move large objects in unpredictable ways, leading to hilarious results. And most of the game's challenges can be bypassed by using your cutting tool in ways that I do not believe the devs envisioned.

Regardless, if you want to spend some time in a fun physics sandbox, where nearly the entire landscape is destructible, TaBGL is not a bad way to spend your hard-earned prison cigarettes while Thorn sterilizes another safety pin for round two of Angelou.

By the way: GREAT name for a Kendrick Lamar cover band.

Fun game. However, its very short, and somewhat less allowing for creative then you might hope it would allow for. Don't expect hours of fun, expect a few.
