Gain access to the full season [7 episodes] of Law & Order: Legacies by purchasing the series from the start, which will act as your gateway to obtaining all of the episodes in a season long saga that puts the outcome in your hands.

All 7 Episodes are now available immediately upon purchasing the full season.

In Law & Order: Legacies, you will play as the detectives, questioning a range of suspects—then use your knowledge of the case to evaluate whether they are lying or telling the truth. You can also search the scene of a crime for clues, and use those clues in your investigation.

Once in court, you will act as prosecutors to elicit testimony on the stand, and object to the Defense attorneys when they get out of line. As the jury watches, their sympathies will sway to one side or the other. The jury’s feelings about your case will affect the outcome, as well as your ability to negotiate a good plea bargain—should you choose to do so.

Key Features:

  • PLAY THE SHOW as police, investigating crimes; and then as district attorneys, prosecuting the offenders.
  • JOIN A DREAM TEAM CAST of fan-favorite investigators and prosecutors from multiple Law & Order franchises, including Olivia Benson, Lennie Briscoe, Rey Curtis, Jack McCoy and many more.
  • DISCOVER MULTIPLE ENDINGS with innovative court room game play based on your moral decisions: convict, plea bargain, or find the defendant not guilty!
  • INVESTIGATE 7 standalone cases that also piece together a season-wide mystery.
  • Based on NBC Universal’s Emmy-winning Law & Order series, TV’s top-rated and longest-running crime series.

This is a very underrated game by people in my opinion; if you've ever watched Law and Order, you'll find a lot of similarities in the game, from the characters to the plot to the music soundtrack. I went in expecting it to have similarities to the show, and it did not fail my expectation.

For a game that's supposed to be "easy and short," I have played 5 episodes and I'm already at 7.7 hours when I had read some other reviews claiming it'd be an hour per episode. Although that could be true, I find myself taking longer than the expected time, because some parts you may choose to do over in order to get all of the points, or you could leave it to your original score. Personally, I replay some scenes, because you can quickly skip through the dialogue, and it does not take a lot of your time. I have yet to hit 3 out of 3 stars (how you are rated on each case), so I do plan to replay all of the episodes I have gone through at some point.

This game is more of a point-and-click and memory retention game, hence why I say it is not easy (the memory retention part). The first two cases, you are reminded of what objections are, such as hearsay, argumentative and so on, but as you hit the third case that no longer happens, which means you have to remember all of the objections that were taught in the game, and you must pay attention to what everyone says in the game in order to disprove or approve of their comment. If you choose not to do that, you'll be marked down points and could possibly fail the case. I have not struck all of the wrong points on a case to be rendered to that menu, but I assume if I do, it says you fail and you will be able to replay the part. Someone mentioned this game being similar to Phoenix Wright, and it is, but not to a large degree. This game is a lot easier, and some of the answer options that are given to you are obviously wrong because the choice sounds ridiculous i.e. "Carl Jones is an officer and would never lie, because he is an officer."

In addition a good part about this game is the moral choices of the game which are most prevalent by how you decide the fate of the defendant: will you cut the defendant some slack and give him only 1 year in jail, or put him in jail for 40 years where he will never have a chance to have probation? The choice is yours, however, keep in mind that you must be hitting a certain level of persuasion in order to have a bigger punishment, otherwise what you try to do will be rejected.

In conclusion, I think this game is a lot of fun. If you are looking for a game that has a lot of movement and is action packed, this game is not for you. Basically when you download the game, you'll be questioning a lot of people, finding items at crime scenes by circling areas and objecting when you're in court, which is just reading through dialogue and just like the questioning, you'll identify a topic by clicking on it and then pointing out if it sounds flawed, or the person is lying to you. The cons I have are small like I cannot skip the opening scene, the credits, and the fact that this game is not getting a sequel saddens me.

6,5/10

+ investigating crimes and then prosecuting the offenders is interesting
+ gameplay relies on you listening carefully the dialogues and sometimes finding clues in a scene, everything is logical in that sense
+ good length for all 7 episodes
+ recommended for fans of the show

- gameplay is very casual and shallow, finding clues is like a hidden object scene, giving the right answers in dialogues is just too easy
- prosecuting is just bad, you have to object etc being a lawer, which is interesting at first but becomes tiresome soon
- average presentation

Very underrated Telltale game. It's like a reallife Phoenix Wright.

You interrogate witnesses and call them out on their lies, The weakest part of the game is probably the the crime scene investigations where you need to circle interesting items but the items you find serve a purpose in the later investigation. In court you need to use lawyer terms like speculation, hearsay, argumentative which can be challenging in the beginning but I got used to it pretty quickly, they don't overload you with it at the beginning.

The good: Classic Tale Tale, when it comes to decison making.
Not only do you solve the crimes, but you also take the crime you just solved to court and try to convince the jury.
If you're into moral conflict and things like that, this is a good game
Very informative and educational for people who aren't into the law or have no idea how supreme courts work
The bad:
The graphics arent great, and the audio timing seems to never be on point consistently
Since the graphics arent great it's hard to go off of expressions for answers
It's point and click through and through, i dont mind but some people may dislike.
