This is a benchmarking program. It should be pretty self-explainatory. In fact, I don't even know why I'm writing a review for this. If you need this, you'll probably know. If you're not sure, then you probably don't need it.

This is a great tool to test the performance of your PC. The benchmarking tools in this software really push your computer to its limits. The software is easy to use and doesn't take a brain surgeon to understand. Just pick what level of computer you think you have and the software will tell you if you have a decent rig. You can check your scores against other people from around Steam which is fun. I like it that you can compare your system overtime to see where it is lacking or what needs to be improved. This software has helped me to understand my system more each time I use it. This has helped me to understand my RAM frequencies and see that they were not running at the same frequency which helped me save alot of money. I really recommend this software to any PC guru that wants to get the most out of their system. I would first try the DEMO first since you can get a basic idea of what your computer can do from that but if you want to mess with settings then get the full version of this software. I wouldn't recommend this at full price, make sure to wait till this one goes on sale.

Heyyo, Futuremark has been an extremely popular benchmarking software developer for a long time... and 3DMark shows us exactly why. 3DMark 11 shows how beautiful and effective DirectX 11 is with the latest and greatest hardware. The launch on Steam for 3DMark 11 was rocky (couldn't get it to run on my notebook with nVidia Optimus tech enabled GTX 650M) but after direct contact from Futuremark they asked me to test a few different .exe files which worked great and the patch was released to all. THAT, is customer service. I support Futuremark because they support us. :)

An excellent benchmarking tool. You can find it out there for less than $10, so this is very much worth picking up.

As some gaming laptops are tested for their 3DMark 11 performance, its nice that this software allows me to compare their performance against my gaming desktop.

Can't get this to run above 25 FPS. The action doesn't make sense. One minute you're underwater and the next you're in some Indiana Jones ♥♥♥♥.

Why not just build a rig that can play games at a solid 60fps at high resolutions like 1920x1080 and up and just use the $20 to buy an actual game to enjoy? I don't understand this program unless you can't afford to buy a powerful rig and are trying to overclock cheaper materials or just test the limits of your underpowered parts. It isn't too overly expensive if you save up and build your own.

3DMark's benchmarking algorithms are off and most people know how to game them to get waaaay higher scores than is even possible. People running dual core Intel Celeron processors beat out AMD FX 6+ core processors. Likewise people with integrated graphics beat out discrete GTX cards by miles.

If the scores were meaningful, benchmarking software like this would be useful. But it's not and therefore, I can't recommend it.
