This game is not as much terrible as it is mediocre. It was amusing at first, rolling around and shooting at anything that moved. And the fatality-like kills that resulted from defeating each boss were amusing at first ...
... and then repetition set in, more or less at the 30 minute mark. There's not much variety to the platforming. The colors are obnoxious. There's not a lot of variety to how to beat the bosses. And the fatalities are recycled later.
Again, it's not bad. It's just boring. The map is helpful to understand where you are and where enemies are. The gamepad layout is fairly intuitive. The controls are reasonably responsive. Technically, it's okay. But it's painful to play after a while because it's so dull.
Also, don't bother spending time with the Island, which is simple prison labor management system using the enemies you've defeated to generate more money. I barely touched this and still had plenty of money to buy EVERYTHING in the game.
Really, I only finished the game so that I can delete it without regrets and never think to play it again.
I also had one of the DLCs, Virtual Rabbit Missions, installed. Don't bother with it. They're lame timed missions, like race to the end within the time limit or kill all enemies within the time limit. I think each mission is about 30 seconds, so it's really not worth the money.
I'd probably give it a 3/10. Seriously, this game was so dull that I had to play it in small doses because it gave me headaches from the sheer boredom.
