This game was fun at the beginning.
Heck, I even loved it!
It was humorous aswell.

Then it fade out: I reached the final set of missions. They are soo ANNOYING, absolutely UNORIGINAL, they artifically make the game longer by forcing player to repeat extremly difficuly passages where you in 90% of cases die without ANY chance.
The game needs to CHEAT to beat you, like magical explosion on your position.
The checkpoints are terribly placed, if you manage to die at the final bunch of soldiers (which you will, because of magical explosions) that you had to kill - you have to repeat the proccess of killing 999999 random faceless bandits AGAIN.
You can't even quit the game and continue later - the final chain of missions takes TWO hours to complete (artifical length - retries all time) and consists of roughly 20 absolutely dumb and unfair minigames.
Also, the game is filled with filler missions - kill 9999999 guys under 2 minutes. You'll do this every ten minutes.

If you still buy the game, or you already own it, listen here: once Doc is kidnapped, stop playing the game. Don't advance the story. Just don't.

Retro City Rampage is a GTA like pixel world filled with memes and steriotypes. It really feels like the old GTA2 with features from the later games. It has a decent story line and a heaploads of fun.

I recomend having it and running if if you are bored.

Retro City Rampage: a cleaner version of GTA with a retro asthetic. It's got a funny storyline, great music, tons of weapons, thousands of hidden goodies around the map, and most importantly, fun gameplay.

Pick it up while it's on sale and you'll find it a solid use of 20 hours of your time.

so many homages, so many awesome mini games. such a beautiful and detailed style.
The controls and gameplay are spot on. This game captures a huge amount of retro feel and charm while adding fresh ideas. It plays and feels a bit like a newer GTA game but with the gaming style of the first one and the visuals of an NES home console.
All I can say is it's a great game
