About This Game

Reload your shotgun, sharpen your sword and rev that chainsaw; Deadhill town is teeming with zombies, and it’s your job to put ‘em down! The fate of humanity rests in the hands of four unlikely heroes: Jack, the gamer; Rachel, the girl; Brian, the geek; and Luxo, the alien. Go it alone, or enlist the services of up to three like-minded chums to survive the zombie apocalypse.

The spiritual successor to Burn Zombie Burn!, All Zombies Must Die! builds on the classic twin-stick shooter formula with a smattering of role-playing features. Level up characters, complete side quests and collect items to craft deadly new weapons. There’s no shortage of options in how you choose to dispose of the undead, but the brain-chompers aren’t going to take it lying down. The shuffling cadavers come in varying shapes and sizes, and are affected by four environmental modifiers; fire, radiation, sonic and shock. Use your weapons and the environment carefully, and you might just make it out in one piece.

This game was NOT worth my money. The play style of this game is repetative and not very fun! That and a VERY short campaign equals a terrible buy!

"Ok i thought not another ZOMBIE game AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH" but start playing and you realise that this is one fun and entertaining little game and it has a brilliant sense of humour (not all jokes are for CHILDREN though so beware).
You start the game in the town square and it all feels a little "ZOMBIES ATE MY NEIGHBOURS" but play some more and you come to realise that it isnt that game at all and rather a sort of arcade game with slight rpg overtones in it.
Now i say slight as when you clear the first screen and get onto the next after solving a few fetch and carry missions (fun to play and not boring ones) you then have to clear the police station of all the zombies and then the police station becomes your base from which to set out from to complete missions and find the relevent items you need to upgrade the weapons you have (also when rummaging through the searchable items such as garbage cans and cupboards ECT-you find the developers cards and then you activate the "DEV CARD HUNT CHALLENGE").
Keep playing and eventually your team grows to 4 members (now i wont say what they all are so as not to spoil the surprise-YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO GUESS WHEN PLAYING I DID) each bring different weapons to the game and also the chance to upgrade your weapons with different abbilities also,at certain points you have to play as each character as not all characters are allowed to pass all gates or complete all quests.
Now if you die whilst doing these quests and havent got through the gate to the next level, the game will put you back to the start of the level and you will have to try again (even if you did find that elusive weapon part) and this is the part of the game that frustrated me the most (but actually in a good way-READ ON) but also came to be the best gameplay element in the game. Now why do i say this, well i will tell you why and its really simple "IT MAKES YOU PLAY THE GAME BETTER AND THEREFORE GET BETTER AT IT" upto the point where no matter how many zombies are on screen you can and allways feel like you can do the next quest and beat all of the damn things.
Now this brings me to the security gates, some open straight away (and all the ones near your base open with no quest activated) but others set you an in level challenge, say to kill 10 zombies with the criket bat or set 25 zombies on fire ect but all these quests are fun and offer a little in game distraction from what you were doing at that moment.
The graphics in game are great for this sort of game (the zombies are all funny and shuffle around in typical comedy zombie fashion),the sound and music in game is also good and the script is funny but some jokes arent really aimed at the younger generation ("WHAT DID THAT GAME JUST SAY MUM" "ITS OK BILLY WILL EXPLAIN WHEN YOUR OLDER").
All in all this game is well made and adds a needed comedy injection in the arm to an allready over populated genre of game.So if your looking for another ZOMBIE game and want something a little different give this one a go and you want be dissapointed "BBRRRRAAAIINNNNNSSSS".

I like twin stick shooters. The evasion of the enemies, and shooting in a different direktion than you run.

This game basically is a twin stick shooter, but it has some problems in my opinion.

You can come in a situation where you have no ammunition for any of your weapons. This should not happen in any twin stick shooter game in my opinion. The weapon upgrades and the 2 secondary weapons result in a somewhat confusion game play. Less would be more. The areas are often very crowded, and there is not much place to navigate, which is sad. All in all, it is a nice game, but I can't recommend it in any way.

Boring
This is like something you would get for free on an ipad with a cash store for silly outfits and weapons. There is no depth, the story is one dimensional, the art style and writing is cartoonishly childish. Go into a hallway with a dog and a 4 year old and try to keep a balloon from hitting the ground- WAY more fun! Playing hide and go seek with a cat is more fun. Set out a piece of candy near an ant pile and try to kill them all/protect the candy . . . more fun than this game. Run backwards in a circle and point at your walls and yell BANG BANG, now you are at about the level of fun this game provides . . . no kidding. No substance. Sorry. But hey, I got this as part of a humble bundle so whatever, right?

I picked this title up for cheap and found the controls the awkward part. Might be better with a gamepad. Graphics and story are quite fun but the controls for me brought it down to a not recommend

A good game for a few people around a tv. Doesn't quite recapture the awesomeness of "Zombies Ate My Neighbours".

A lot of fun in this title, decent difficultyu curve that allows for a ood balance of fun and playability. I also enjoyed the self-aware humor. I give this an unqualified recomendation.

A boring grindfest zombie shooter.

The graphics are very nice. The zombies are well designed and cute, the animations are funny to watch, and the presentation is pretty cool.

Basically, it's like the first game Burn Zombie Burn!, but with the possibility to play cooperatively with one or more friends (in local co-op). Perfect! Well unfortunately no. There's now upgradeable character stats, a lousy crafting system, and a less than appealing story.

The gameplay is exactly like BZB! so it's fun, but it gets repetitive way too quickly - and unfortunately, the game forces you to grind for hours to upgrade anything.

A fun little shoot em up Action/RPG. You play with a top down view and, you guessed it, shoot zombies a lot. It has some neat little features and a nice progression. Decent storyline and humor. Considering how cheap it is on most steam sales, I say grab it up when you see it cheap. You will definitely get a good money:fun ratio out of this one.

Fun twin-stick shooter with a tendency to be frustratingly hard sometimes and quite some repetition. Haven't tried, yet - but I have a feeling that the game is a lot more fun when you play it with a friend and not alone.

Another top-down zombie shooter with very limited depth. They do try to make it a bit more interesting by having quests, a crafting system and a level up system...a super shallow RPG mechanic. It does make the game better then if it had been without those features but the game really didnt grab my interest very much but gladly it was on the short side.

The only achievement that might cause any additional work is the collectible achievement avalible in the game as the rest should unlock as long as you make sure to do all avalible quests and make sure that you spend the time to kill 500 zombies in a single level at some point.

Time to 100%: ~7 hours

This game has a lot of humor in it. The characters crack a lot of jokes about how they feel like they're playing a video game, or about the "kill quests" to move on to the next level and what not.

Naturally, the story is lacking, and the game play is kinda stale. I played far enough into it to get a taste of the rpg elements in the hopes that I might be pulled back in, but it couldn't keep my interest for long. I wish I could say I finished this game, but that never happened.

You are forced to play as certain characters from time to time, helping to move the story along. This wouldn't be a big deal if the characters were balanced. I'm sure this game can be a lot of fun with other players, but it's local co-op only which is always a bummer. There are far better above head shooters on steam.

Probably best to steer clear of this title. Certainly not the worst game I've ever played, but far from the best. Might be worth looking at if you get it dirt cheap, are planning to play it with friends in a party-type setting, and you remember to switch off friendly fire.

Pros: an appealing visual style, arcade gameplay( might want to think of it as something of a Robotron-RPG hybrid), strives for a lighthearted, humorous tone.

Cons:
Not sure if this is a multi-player vs single player issue, but as the game progressed the quests tended to get vaguer and more irksome solo . Having the game tell you that the "my first science kit" drop has been activated is significantly less informative than telling the player that they'll have to kill some number of zombies with the sonic effect active - although even that makes significantly less sense than having the "my first science kit" in a box in the Mall's toy shop. There are quite a few retrieve-item-x from searchable containers quests, which are annoying because it takes a significant amount of time to search these objects, a problem with constantly replenishing swarms of zombies that seem to spawn more quickly with the passage of time. But this could be less of an issue if players get to divide searching and zombie management duties.

The game could have used a compass is always on toggle in the game options menu, since certain in-game situations can clear the current compass, which can be a nuiscance. Not a huge issue but it would have been one less aggravation.

Although its heart seems to be in the right place, All Zombies Must Die is also not very good, so it's a C- title to me.

All Zombies Must Die, what to say about this top-down shooter. The cover gives this game the feeling of a Xbox live marketplace game, the big heads, the limb proportion's not to mention the style looks the same as the avatars for the Xbox 360. The screenshots of the game made me think that this was a smartphone game, this probably isn't a good thing.

First look into the game:
The game lacks a good intro, the main menu pretty much starts up almost immediately and starting a new game puts you right into the game instead of showing some kind of intro-cutscene. The character starts a short in-game dialog but he's talking in a way that it makes me think that i am playing a sequel, in the second level the protagonist encounters what appears to be his "Ex-girlfriend" and they are talking about things that happened earlier. This is really confusing since i questioned myself if i may have skipped a cut-scene or two or something, after a quick Google search i found out that the game had a spiritual predecessor called "Burn Zombie Burn" but it has nothing to do with the story line of this game.

The game:
After starting a single-player game i immediately started grinding zombies, i took the first 40 minutes to beat the zombies with my fist's without walking to a objective. After i reached level 3, got the achievement for killing 500 zombies and obtaining 1000 gold i went to the first objective. To get past a gate i had to grab a double-barrel shotgun and kill 5 zombies with it. So i walked to the middle of the level to grab the shotgun and started shooting, this resulted in a disappointment. To kill a zombie it took 2/3 blasts with a reload after the second shot, this took longer than the four hits with our fists. The weapons pretty much fails close-quarter compared to the fists since they can also hit multiple enemy's at once. Later in the game i found a Cricket bat as a melee weapon, which is pretty much useless since it takes a whack or eight to kill a zombie. A micro Uzi and M4, both are underpowered since it takes to many hits to kill the target. There is a option to combine items with weapons resulting in weapons with elemental damage but compared to the damage it does, the need of ammo and the reload time i just sticked with the fists. Upgrading the damage of my character seemed to do pretty much nothing since it still took the same amount of shots/hits to kill something.

Verdict:
This game misses cut-scenes and a good background story, weapons are useless since the fists do the most damage. The controls are really awkward, The "Esc" button does nothing, "F1" is menu, "Middle mouse button - Click" is weapon cycling this all works strange and enhances the feeling that this is just a port with no extra PC optimizations. Long story short, after playing this game for 80 minutes it lacked a story-line, good controlled, weapons that do damage. It's also worth mentioning that the multiplayer is local only, so there are no online lobbys.

I rate it a 5,0/10.

A twin stick shooter with RPG elements and a light hearted take on the zombie apocalypse from the makers of burn zomie burn. This game focuses less on the story (which has quite a bit of humor to it) and more on fun.
