Hands down one of the best campaign shooters I've ever played. Just when I was getting fatigued of shooters, this gem flips my mood upside down. Why I don't see this on more peoples' top favourite lists, I don't know.

+ Story Rich. Love it from start to finish.
+ Controls very well, especially with a gamepad.
+ Enjoyable cast of characters. It never gets dull.
+ Good Humor. Something I didn't expect from a game that looked like a generic tech-military shooter.
+ Interestingly designed robotic bosses.

The voice control gimmick for your teammates never works (and the button commands to give orders don't work, either), and the key mappings it suggests are always keyboard mappings (even if you've configured the game to use an X-Box 360 controller). It might be a good game, but the controls and interface are so awful that they get in the way of an enjoyable game.

Ironically, for a game about the eradication of androids posing as humans, Binary Domain is itself a form of replicant. It convincingly apes the mechanics and behaviours of the best shooters on the market, but its augmentations feel noticeably forced and artificial. Having said that, shearing through robots in a Neo Tokyo setting makes for a nice change of pace within a genre typically populated by alien antagonists and Eastern European enemies, and in all but name this is essentially the best Terminator game ever made. The voice command and trust systems are interesting experiments that yield slightly underdeveloped results, but ultimately Binary Domain doesn't hang its hat on them even without the gimmicks this is an enjoyable albeit derivative shooter that any self-respecting sci-fi fan should check out.

Good shooting with awesome destructible robots, great futuristic art, an intriguing story and the best robot companion in videogames since HK-47, highly recommended.

Awful Gears of War clone where you fight terrible and silly looking Terminator Rip off Robots with a pointless and stupid voice recognition feature that doesn't even work. The dialogs are really embarassing and they are trying real hard to come off as "bad ♥♥♥" and Gears of Wars like. The worst part about this console part is that it's done wrong: You can play with your controller YET the game will display Keyboard commands. So I was playing with my controller and the game told me "press and hold M" or "press Key I don't know" so I constantly had to guess what the game was even asking for. Also it lacks a lot of cover positions or stuff is in your way but you can not cover. The graphics are also pretty ugly and yes I know this game is a few years old but it's just not lovely.

Poor visuals, poor controls, horrible dialogue, barely functional voice recognition.

I would be upset if I spent money on this game.

This game is definietly one of the best games from SEGA, and it has got a great story too. The characters are well written, the plot, as I mentioned is great, the difficulty is balanced. The shooting in this game is feels good, especially when the robots are tearing into little pieces. I can totally recommend this game. (but before you start the game, deactivate your mic ingame)

its like a good terminator game but without time traveling and in my opinion its one of the most underrated games of 2012 ohh and one of the few sega games that didn't give me any problems with game difficulty or keyboard controls lol .
-the plot : climate changes and earth is flooded, water levels rises , people died, so the government decided to build new cities above the water lines but that work needs hard workers so they decided to build robot for that ,the geneva made some laws forbidding people to create robots that resemble to humans physically and emotionally but suddenly a robot shows up as humans and the worst part that even he did know that he was a robot , so geneva send the best rust cruit ( special ops ) in japan to investigate ( japan is the only country that has the technology to build stuff like that obviously) + plot twist around every corner and that's how i love my games ( can't predict whats is really going on until the last second) .
-gameplay : just like in gears of war , you run , shoot and take cover + you can dodge attacks (like in dark souls) and punch like a main :p ( you get bonus score for it ) + RPG elements ( lvl up your main weapon and characters ) the new thing is that you can shoot robot in the legs to slow them down or arms so they drop their weapons (but they adapt to it and try different tactics) or in the head so they turns against each others also the thing i really loved is that the plot and the gameplay changes with your teammates, how you treat them in game for exemple if you help them they will be there for you and if you disrespect them and shoot them they will lose respect and disobey your orders ( yes you can give orders to your teammates) you can also have romance with one of them ( only one i think i wont say who so i don't spoil the game ;) ) and if you have a mic then you can say the orders and response ( was a good thing in 2012 for more in game immersion and too lazy to push TAB lol ) ,the game takes place in a futuristic japan , cities , slums , factories ...act + you have different enemies and bosses ( some of them are really hard and gives a good challenge) . ffinally about the team , you have around 7 teammates (from different country ) and each one has different skills and mood and each one change the plot a bit .
-sound : one of the best voice acting ( total immersion ) , nice soundtrack , perfect sound effect and like i said , if you have a mic then you can give orders directly to you team.
-the multiplayer is dead , servers are empty most of the time so don't bother buying the dlc
- full controller support but i have more fun playing with the keyboard and mouse ( helps with a good target precision specialty on hard mode)
-didn't face any problems with the game , no bugs or glitches ( game is well optimized for pc and works fine on windows 10 64 bit).
- achievements works fine and easy to get (story related) to but sadly some of them are multiplayer related so you cant complete the game at 100%
-no steam trading cards
well i think i said the most important things about this game , you should give it a try if you like japan ( kinda ), robots and a good story with plot twists in a futuristic settings and dont bother with the dlcs ( skins with no real effect on the game ) and the other one is for multiplayer and like i said the muli is dead
9/10

Great game. Plays like any third person shooter but has vehicle and chase missions every now and then as well as interesting bossfights. The trust system is a nice feature, you basically get your trust level up by interacting with teammates and performing well in combat, it affects story progression and how well they follow you commands. Story is very interesting too, has some transhumanist themes in it which I personally really like. Graphics look pretty good and haven't really encountered any bugs.

The voice recognition feature is a great idea but unfortunately it didn't work properly for me so I had to give commands with my keyboard instead. Can't really say anything about the online features because I haven't used those yet.

Pretty cool cover shooter with some interesting mechanics and rather good story. Voice acting is also surprisingly solid. Unfortunately many gameplay aspects are not fully fleshed out. Can become stale at times. Still worth checking out. It's a shame that there is no chance for a sequel.
